- Converted this John Deere 330 round baler from hydraulic twine tie to electric using an actuator from Amazon and some custom fabrication. Also built a homemade control box.
Interested in full details, looking to do this to a JD 330 baler as well. Thanks
Fairly simple. Ask any questions you got.
Would be interested in more details and link to actual actuator used, may do this on a 335 baler.
Here you go:
ECO-WORTHY 12 Volt 10 Inch Stroke Linear Actuator Heavy Duty 330lbs Maximum Lift with Mounting Brackets a.co/d/d5RrUgf
The bale size sensor’s connected to the actuator, or the wires just run parallel in the same loom ?
It's a mechanical bale size sensor linked to the tension arm. It's very rudimentary but reliable. No wires involved.
@@bignatehobbyfarm and it just runs to the buzzer right ?
@@jeffjones9727 the buzzer is a simple switch situated on a bracket connected to the right side tension arm. I wired it to a buzzer on my little control box that I fabricated. The original design had no control box and was all just visual gauges and a buzzer built into the baler.
How does it feed the string I'm Interested in doin this
Like any information u can give me
