@@onthelake9554 I'm aware that that less than a year ago and AFTER HE WAS ALREADY OUT OF OFFICE, the *House* released some of his returns, that Trump did not give them up willingly and fought their release the whole way, and that the returns only cover a 5-year period from immediately before and during his time in office and not the years that would have applied when he made the promise. He never had any intention of following through with his promise and did not follow through during his term in office, and as I said before, we're still waiting for those earlier returns that would have been useful information for the voting public in 2016, information which has been freely and willingly provided by every other president for the last 50 years. Being (barely) a billionaire has nothing to do with it.

@@mulletslayer6172 in general or on this issue? the constitution makes it pretty clear that somethings are best not left to states, I agreed with the previous supreme court precedent that you had a right to privacy and the government couldn't know if you where having an abortion and thus couldn't ban it even if they wanted to. when you look at the sates attempts to ban it a lot of them are just dumb and purely for political points. Making it so women would literally have to carry around dead fetus while still allowing women to have abortions as long as it happens under a certain arbitrary date. the states have proved that they are dumb on this issue, even if you wanted to ban abortion, so why leave it to the states to infringe on your rights?

In the center with varying degrees spreading out until you get to the minority extremes. Those are the far rights and far lefts. We've been letting them dictate the narrative for far too long and we're getting nowhere. We have to live together and get along or we are doomed as a nation.
Believe it or not, Trump actually does pretty well on the issue of Abortion. He has pushed back against heartbeat-bans and other Pro-Life movements, so I wouldn't consider it a "flip" on the issue, rather a repositionment within the party.
