Two brothers, Paul and Gunter Galneder are sent out to the Eastern Front in 1941, and their only connection to the homeland is through letters to their family.
Very good. I really enjoyed it. That last kid looked just like my 14 year old grandson, and it really hit home as to where the Germans were at that point in the war.
Must have been really difficult fighting for an unjust cause like invading another country and knowing that you shouldn't really be there dying in the mud far from your own home knowing that ultimately you are going to get kicked all the way back to your own country and destroyed.
@@michaeljohn5085 correct, the young boy had a very tenuous grasp of the German language though and the lines he said were the absolute most simple ones possible

Watched it two times, really enjoyed it, Thank you.

Well done, was kept interested throughout the entirety.
Props, an armoured car and a handful of uniforms. Relies on the telling of a story. Achieves its mission.

@@WestCoastKilties World War Two was a tragedy insofar as loss of life yes.
So what did it say in the boys letter?
@clearsailing7993 it wasn't good news. Paul was left with the choice to tell the truth or help keep the kids spirits up and make up a lie
@@pungabunga9373 you got it, that’s exactly correct!
Crazy speech. These are no german native speakers. Anyway, the movie is welldone.
@@bavariadigger5477 just one, but I agree. The speech was erratic however I’m not making a World War Two German film that’s NOT in German hahaha

@@IronTitanProductions, totally understand.
Why did you shamelessly 'rip-off' the soundtrack from the incredible series 'Untere Mutter Untere Vater?' You really didn't need to...

If you want to do it in German, at least get a German to narrate it!
