If bags were actually made like this with the same process and slowness, you would only make two bags a day
That means sixty bags a month
Which means that you will not reap all this wealth
You will not even find enough money to pay the workers' wages, so your work will end
    So stop lying

Well, in case you don’t know, this is only one model amoung loads of others. Not all models are high end, some are made one unit at a time, some others are made in serial production and only take a few hours to make.

I’ve worked in a LV bag workshop as a logistics engineer. We were producing roughly 6000 bags a week for 900 employees, which means roughly 1 bag a week per employee (all employees considered - even logistics, HR, etc.). To be fair, the bags are produced in a « chain production manner », which means that in a production line, a worker does only a specific task for several hours and the bag moves across the line. Most assembly tasks are automated (sewing machines, embossing, etc.), except for trunks where quite litterally everything is manual besides cutting the leather/canvas.
Hope that helps to add some perspective !

      @@sleju69 Interesting comment.
I never worked for LV but I used to work for Hermès.
We do work in a kind of ’’industrial’’ mindset but one person makes the bag from beginning to end, except the cutting and what we call ’’preparation’’.
Hermès cares a lot about the versatility of the employees. Pretty much everything is made by hand except the cutting of pieces.
People get all the pieces needed to make a certain number of bags during the week and they have to manage their production cadency by themselves.
