Omg these are the only chinese bromance (bl) ive watched same as urs i think we have the same taste in the genres of bl if uve watched more chinese bl can you suggest me ? Ive seen many thai, Taiwanese etc but i like these more like these have more sexual tension and its cute ( shounen ai ) i was thinking of watching winter begonia but im not much fan of serious , mature character bls instead i like this stupid characters like you know they like to have fun and flirty

@@chingu_aki7 yesss watch Advance Bravely! It's a bit weird and I didn't like it much when I first watched it but I rewatched it recently and completely fell in love, I wanna rewatch right again!

Honestly, The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty is the drama I find myself go back again and again. And to my surprise, more I watch it, the more I find the details of the scenery, costumes, dialogues, and acting enhance. I absolutely love the main leads. One of the best drama!

Wow they're just so sweet. I love the way he always protects him and you can see how much they care for each other. The smile goes to their eyes and their eyes shine when they look at each other. I adore Darren so much

@@sara77595 it is based on a bl novels, but as usual in the series it’s considered a bromance, but still obviously not :) they didn’t censor too much tbh, they still live together and make lots of suggestive comments and there’re scenes when it’s pretty obvious, plus the chemistry is incredible ❤️

@@Mrseclipse555 Actually I haven't seen it. I watched the first 2 episodes and got kinda bored so I put it in my list of on-hold dramas and haven't picked it up again. I have watched lots of fmv's on them though which is why I know. I just don't know whether it's worth watching it or just to continue watching fmv's of them.
As for Darren I first saw him in Meteor Garden and completely fell in love with his portrayal of his character. I have followed him ever since then with all his projects because I think he is a truly stunning actor and he is very good at getting into te character but also bringing a part of himself to the role that will stay there forever and I love that. Unfortunately his last 2 projects haven't appealed to me. I have watched part of both and ended up putting them on-hold to come back to when I have nothing that I really want to watch (so backups for boredom basically)
Honestly this drama was so good so underrated and I love it so much the action scenes were so awesome no wonder cuz of Jackie chan 😌
But I really enjoyed it and I watched multiple times and although the bromance was so light but the friendship between not only sui Zhou and Tang fan but with Wang zhi the relationship that the three of them had was amazing and beautiful ❤️

yes, agreed, so good, very underrated, the fights were incredible, still dying bc of the ep39 one. haha idk about the bromance being “light” lol i think it was pretty obvious that it’s not really a bromance, I caught it very early on, even before I knew it was a BL novel, that they’re a couple, the chemistry was amazing, also their bts are so freaking cute 🥰

LOL, you can watch Chinese bl dramas on Netflix and Viki. Once you watch The Sleuth of Ming Dynasty, I recommend Word of Honor, The Untamed, Killer And Healer, The Guardian and Ultimate Note.
I guess you refer to the new Koren Bls - which are mostly 8 episodes and about 8 to 10 minutes runtime. There are a few shorter Taiwanese like because of you, but these are not Chinese. Woh for example have more then 30 episodes and if I remember right, about 45 min. And this is mainland China.

Vvvvvv good show, just don't understand why isn't it more popular. Other than the lovely chemistry between SuiZhou, there's also one of the best characters ever, the arresting, baby faced, all powerful eunuch, Wang Zhi, whom for me is the highlight of the show. The plot is good as is the cases they solve. There's some really thought provoking dialogue. Action is really good too, due to Jackie Chan production. There's loyalty, courage, patriotism, friendship, and some incredible found-family feels. What's not to like!
