ok, so S.C.I Mystery just popped up in my recommendations and I can't believe I forgot how much I loved this drama ??? I watched it all over again and I couldn't help but do a video of these two because their chemistry is SO good. The whole story is great too.

I loved how they slowly changed each other. The professor was so strict and boring as a person but he became mischievous just to annoy the detective. And the detective started to trust others more. He didn’t solo everything anymore.
There IS a kiss scene where he gives him CPR saving his life but to my BL heart its a kiss 💋 💘

Also, Bai Yutong's sister said, on one ep (18 or 19, I don't remember) "Even when they are angry, they argue, I'm jelous" and all that because she and the forensic doctor doesn't even talk when they fight. It's like she's implying they are a couple, because she is comparing them with her relationship, which is a love relationship. In another ep, when BYT and ZY are arguing in their officine, the other 2 cops saw them and talk about them as "there is trouble in the paradise" and refering to them with a word, that in coloquial chinese means friends but in poetry, means lovers. So there's so much hints in the dialogues and actions of the characters (the most obvious, how BYT take care of ZY when he's sick, when he is affraid, when he is hurt, how he conceals with everything ZY ask to him to do like in ep 20 to be his model for a paint) that proves and directly and indirectly leads you to the conclusion: they have a romantic relationship. The chemestry is there!! It's obvious!

I just love that bls/bromances are being made on new tropes-like this one. I am a sucker for crime investigation series/mystery series. This being a bromance (and the novel being a bl!) made it all so so much better. Loved the cat-mouse pairing in the novel. Frankly the novel was really enjoyable, if not for some confusions that I faced due to inaccurate translations-but overall the perfect amount of mystery and the lovey-doveyness got to me.
If only they allowed bls in China..anyways lots of love to the creator of this fmv-I watched the series bcoz of this fmv. I hope more people find this. Keeping my fingers crossed for a season 2!

You should definitely try reading the book, at first I was bored and was thinking If I should read it or not because it has quiet a lengthy story and series 2,3,4... ongoing I guess still. But after reading it,I can't get enough of it 😭❤️❤️❤️❤️ love them. Bai is so much in love with zz and vise versa, they are definitely inseparable and cannot live without each other. Ah!!!
