I saw them in Hyde park and it was gorgeous to see them outside in the summer but it's not the same as a small intimate venue, you're so lucky! Wish they were more well known.

Heard this for the first time on BBC radio 2 last month.l genuinely thought I was listening to song which was from the late 60s/early 70s which i had not come across before.
Always felt like Kissing you goodbye by The Pierces sounded so much like California Dreaming

When I first heard this, I thought it was 'nice'...then when they hit us with the main chorus I was suddenly taken over by major goosebumps and fell in love :)

I agree that there's something reminiscent of 'The Mamas and The Papas' about 'The Pierces'. My mum's a massive fan of the former and I love them too. A friend thought the same thing when he played us this song and now we're both fans of the Pierce sisters :).
Samovila I first heard them on the radio and instantly was a fan, Another song I heard on the radio was stay gold by first aid kit , similar feel to the music ,think you'l like it.

Great song, summer of love in 1967 is back, this is a throw back to groups like Jefferson Airplane, Fairport Convention, Mama`s & Papa`s, Fleetwood Mac etc.

This is nothing short of awesome. It's rare for a song to make the hairs stand up on the back of my neck nowadays (I'm an old fart) but this does it. Love it. Very 60's.

Hooray for The Pierces getting a mention in The Daily Mail's review of Fleetwood Mac's 2013 tour. They're cited as one of the current bands greatly influenced by Stevie Nicks. It's a great review of the concert, so kudos for The Pierces!
