Can you download your footage from the camera directly to an external hard drive?
Regarding some batteries not passing info, Core SWX has different firmwares (for the v-mount plate adapter) for different battery companies. I have Core nano micro v-mounts that pass info but my GDU battery won't. Before I got my Core batteries, I switched the firmware to allow the GDU to pass info. Now i'm back to the original firmware since I have more Core v-mounts than GDU. Back to guessing on that one. Not sure if just changing firmware could be a solution but figured I'd share my experience.

What is the best Wireless focus system for it? I want someone to see the pic on a screen and focus for the shot.
I have an issue using the portkeys monitor with the komodo, the video signal goes in and out. I tried changing the sdi res output the hz and other things, new sdi cable even new batteries on the monitor and its the same thing. It works fine but after a few mins the signal starts to go in and out help!! Am I doing something wrong?
Recording in 4k, do i get a good red raw image cuz i have heard it crops on the image rather than downsampling
As much as I want the red I know it would be an impulsive buy but you have made me realize that the red is a scientific camera and we’re not sure if we are suited for all that. Maybe a Sony fx6 or stick to our black magic.
Careful with "thin" SDI cables they say 12G but I am very certain they are not 12G. Careful with frying your SDI port, a 12G cable can never be "thin". The cable in the video did not look like it was 12G and I would be wary overall. Beautiful rigs, I love my Komodo.
not sure what the issue is but your Sound is not in synce with the video
