You can tap the three dots next to the video title on a video in your recommended then choose "not interested" & delete a video you watched by going to history, three dots again, then "remove from watch history" to stop getting recommend similar videos. Also if your dislike of gay ships comes from a homophobic reason I suggest you work on it :)

and i dont like any of the ships in the game, gay ones especially, since ive always found projecting sexualities, sexual fantasies and headcanons onto fictional characters to be annoying (also when argued as real or canon that is). a few of the gay ships in this game end up emasculating the men (like turning someone dominant and masculine into someone’s “bitch”, like Zhongchi), which subtracts from their characters. its cringe as hell.
i also know how easy it is to get called homophobic or transphobic in this fandom. all i gotta do is say i dont like it and bam- hate crime. but for the record no, there’s no fear or hate for same sex relationships, i just find all of em to be pretty retarded in this video game; since the diehard shippers internalize them, and almost none of the dynamics make sense

@@jewelmckie I see where you're coming from. Some people in the fandom do act immature/are children or just sensitive to the topic so they get defensive very quickly. Some people don't like shipping and that's fine. Although I don't agree that projecting fantasies happen primarily in gay ships because straight ships do that a lot too, as you said your point applies to all of the ships (that are not canon) in the game. Gay or straight, there is always a little bit of projecting. But I think there is nothing wrong with people projecting onto characters. After all they're made to be like that, made up stories and characters people can connect to emotionally. I also usually don't like it when people write a character out of character, in fanfiction for example, but in the end it's creative writing and they're not hurting anyone by making the character just a little bit more relatable for themselves. Emasculating a man may seem cringe to you but it can be empowering to some people. I hope you can understand that.
