You Hunters need to read this ... We all know that we were Grinding for the Light and wind Team and finally as a F2P reached a level that we were able to defeat Hard Baran. The game suddenly Shifted to FIRE META . Now we don't even have draws and resources left to get them to A5. We need to Grind this time too but not Blindly. If you're Light units are GODLIKE you can actually just save up and go for Buffers. Light And Fire will be 💀💀. Imagine getting defense pen and buffs from fire units and deal in damage with units like Cha or Andre 💀💀
As a f2p that used all his resources building a 1M light team to beat wobl this is so sad. I mean they made a mechanic to make fire units shine and should been all the other way around to shine light team.
I mean I made a new account when Thomas came so Thomas can do what he's supposed too. But fk Netmarble with their fake advertisement on Thomas and than that fire Escanar girl.
Even without Esil, fire team is already strong. Just a Soohyun and Gina together is already broken. It's just most of the players are so focused on to the light team while saying mediocre fire team.
Esil is a huge factor. She allows def pen and fire DMG to excel even more which is the core of fire teams power. These passives that units like Esil and Gina give are not mitigated by the games mechanics and add that with spotlight buff and armed 18% is massive. So ya they were mediocre before because tbh def pen wasn't a big thing and there weren't many ways to get it to 100% but now that there is, we see how op it is
@PayneBlade i used Ggh, gina, sooyhun for pos 20 baran-kaiselin. I can even use Jinchul which shows that even without Esil, fire team is still strong with the right build.
@@PayneBlade you can't just based on GB only, cos guild boss has all element weakness. Use them to whichever boss/stage and compare which team is faster regardless of element weakness and see which team is faster. For example, pos 20 baran-kaiselin: fire team vs light team then record the time they reach each phase. In GB there's no rotation/qte, boss phases etc. so don't just use GB as basis.
yep, this video changed my mind on the fire team, so definitely pulling for them but I have a question who should i a5 first is it esil,gina or ysy? I can't make all of them a5 as I am lacking the pulls for them
Issue is they all feed into each other. Like one piece missing is like the whole team is a bit off. Now u could technically use Meilin or Isla for Gina as support. So you could wait to see how Kanae is and u have time for esil too and then decide
The thing with the fire team is, if you are new to the game, you should rather pull for the light team from the custom banner, get to a level where the really hard content is, and THEN pull for the best team possible. The meta is changing quick, and while black tickets are endless, your gems and white tickets are not, be conservative with them. IF you are P2W, you can do whatever, but F2P should not buy Fire when Thomas and Goh are still the better breaker and DPS. Also Esil ist still there for Weeks, no need to rush things
Some people I’ve seen are talking about Kanae being a 100% replacement for soohyun- but soohyun legit always had and still has the potential to continue on being a strong unit with her killshot- as it bypasses elemental typing, including strength for fire dmg. It is one of the biggest reasons she can output so much against kaisel underpowered, as alongside the elemental dmg buff Esil provides- we 100% know that killshot is doing 10%+, 20%+ up to 30% more damage at max stacks for PTW (Prey on the weak) as her atk with her second basic skill is obviously doing fire damage. We still don’t know exactly how elemental dmg works- so seeing unit’s that can effectively do consistent damage in one way no matter the element is nice to see. If Kanae can do more damage with her ultimate, and have a bypass with it as well- she can be definitely considered more for as a replacement (as burst damage can be considered more superior when it comes to hunter kits.) But an ultimate, a strong one at that with high %’s having elemental bypass is a bit unlikely. But I bet they will do something of the sort- as if they don’t, if she just has higher multipliers- I can’t think of an exact way she could be way better than soohyun 🤔
I have a feeling Kanae could be weaker fully specced compared to soohyun for across the board content but could be better at a more free to play level like a3 for example
Yea SooHyun came out and I read the passive of her converting damage to fire, I really felt like she just need support units to boost her damage and she would become an unstoppable DPS in any content. But back then we had Emma which was honestly underwhelming at the job. That's why even when people say she's a skip and those who pulled her regretted it, I still got her to A5 and used her in PoD regularly. The biggest breakthrough was definitely the advance understanding of Defense Pen and how it relates to damage in general. And given she's the only unit with multiple innate def-pen related passive, at the moment nothing can replace her and if the def stick to the promise to never nerf, she can still remain relevant in most content
New player here, currently day 2 almost lvl 25 sjw, I haven't pulled yet, sitting on 20k essence stones and almost 200 tickets, what characters do I focus on? and how to set a good custom draw list?
for level 25, you dont need the new Hunters, you can pull for thomas andre, go gunhee, Plum sword and either Cha, Mirei, or Fisher. Keep your ES and White Tickets for when you get to a point (80+ onward) where you need specific hunters to beat content. While yes the fire team can beat your content right now, so can every other Hunter from the Custom banner. Also you will get a shit ton of black tickets on your way on completing story. Focus on the Training Missions and pull for the above mentioned hunters and you are gtg
Not gonna work, I tried both teams to pos 20 baran But light team can't even clear it On the other hand, fire team handled this like a piece of cake due to Soohyun's passive that always deals fire damage
Esil really boosted Fire team so much like Go Gunhee did Light team. Now w8 until Kanae comes out Fire team will get the recognition that they deserve for 7 months(more or less)
I wish the devs gave us more raid keys per week. It's alright we can burn game currency for an extra but with 3 active now, we should get a couple more
Considering how powerful fire team is now being featured on various contents, do you still recommend or is it still viable for me to still build my light team? Sorry, I just started January 6 this year, didn't knew that meta was about to change, a lot of people had been saying before that light team is the best, and Thomas Andre is a must have, I've pulled for him, got him to A4, Gun Hee to A6, Min to A1 (Just pulled today), Cha on A3 with their respective weapons in A3 - A4. I'm so confused right now who and what to prioritize. ps. the reason that my hunters and their weapons are low in advances because I didn't knew much about these kind of things before, and just as I was about to learn about it, the meta had changed already and so is the shop where I can pull, I've pulled Akari and prioritized her weapons instead of Gunhee or Andre and alot of other bunch stuffs. I didn't really knew what I was doing because I was kind of new to this game
Light might not get content for a while now. For the next 2 months better to invest in Fire and maybe other elememts like water or dark. I would go with water as the other element to focus as it has been long time since water got any love

It depends bro. How many resources u have and what you have built now. Starting fire as f2p is super hard if u have at least 3 teams semi established cause u are dry on resources

the defence pen really played a big role and the fact that soohyun can always deal fire dmg aas if its the weakness with skill 2
