    I love Mercedes-Benz from that period, when it still was easy to see the difference between the models. I own a 2003 w211 E220 CDI myself and I love the great comfort of a Merc.

    I remember riding in a car like that when it was launched to the market. What a wonderful car. Imperial comfort, exudes quality and had technological aspects such as cylinder deactivation, cruise control with adaptive function, which are still desired today.

      Kratzt Nicht Studio not true, in my country it would cost 7-8k more just to import this car due to customs, that’s additional on top of the cars original price. So you end up spending 15-16k for this car while a 2008 golf would cost 7k and not more.
      The reason for this is any engine over 3.0L gets insane amount of customs tax.

      Hans Heinen, aber wenn die Leute V8 Mercedes-Benz kaufen, wollen sie alle diesen kraftvollen Motorsound hören :) Wissen Sie was ich meine? aber ja, ich stimme mit einer Sache überein, die nicht immer schnell sein sollte.

    • @hansheinen1599
      @hansheinen1599 7 років тому +5

      Natürlich ist es eine tolle Sache, einen V8 zu hören. Muss man ihn trotzdem bis zum roten Bereich drehen? Einen solchen Wagen würde ich zum gemütlichen cruisen nützen. Er kommt auch ohne kraftvolles ausdrehen auf Touren. Ich fahre übrigens einen 320 E. Vermeide Ampelstarts und hochdrehen. Ich habe immer die Gewissheit, dass genügend Power vorhanden ist. Deshalb erschließt es sich auch für mich nicht, warum die Zeitspanne von 0-100 km so wichtig ist. Für mich wäre es wichtiger zu wissen, wie gut ist die Elastizität von 80-120 km. Also ein realistischer Überholvorgang. Übrigens halten sich meine Benzinkosten im überschaubaren Rahmen. Setzt aber einen entsprechenden Fahrstil voraus.

      Abdullah Shah Look for an 04-06 S430,great COMFORT and POWER and definitely get it checked out by Mercedes Benz,the air suspension and AC evaporator core might be the most expensive fix,the engine and transmission should be top notch.I heard the 01-03 S classes leaks water inside the vehicle and the trunk,definitely ask about that.Those cars take PREMIUM gas...

      I’ve got one 2005 s430 awd the restyled version
      Runs like a champ
      Just service it on time and it’ll give you nothing but joy
      Engine is bulletproof
      Transmission (the 5 speed) is good just needs to be serviced every 50 to 70k miles (like basic oil and filter)
      No electrical problems whatsoever
      Cheap to run and to insure

    • @planbdesignnl
      @planbdesignnl  7 років тому +2

      I would recommand an s class after 2003 because then you have the facelifted model with a lot of “new” electronics. So 2004 model or later they are way more reliable. Max 175.00 km. So you can ride 100.000 km without crossing your fingers. Price around 9/10 grand. When you are buying one ask the owner/garage to take it on the bridge so you can see underneath the car. Search for oil leaks neer the suspension and in front of the engine block and rust. Hope I helped you with this!

    • @benjaminstrmole1048
      @benjaminstrmole1048 7 років тому +2

      Thank you mate!! Problem is in my country the 2004 is max 4k or so... 9.5k+ is the newer S class model. Doubt I can get lower than 200.000km and been looking for months now.
