Sir Norman Wisdom was one of the funniest comedians I've seen. Along with his comedy, stunts, acting and singing he had a warm affectionate personality. His specialty in doing all of his falls was quite remarkable. My 76 years have been enriched by seeing his work. Thank you Norman. RIP.
Norman Wisdom the funniest man ever on television I'm in my middle 50s now so I grew up watching Norman Wisdom all his movies it gives me years of joy and laughter and I still love watching them over and over again because he makes me smile there's nothing rude about his films they just make you smile I missed all day no they're all days gone but no man reminds me of when I was a kid and still makes me smile rest in peace Mr Wisdom god bless you always
I remember seeing this as a child and as with many of his films, everyone was in fits of laughter. In later life, I saw him at the Cliffs Pavillion, Westcliff. He would have been about 75 and was throwing himself around and making everyone laugh. Afterwards, he signed autographs for anyone that wanted one at the stage door and also posed for photographs. A gentleman. He even did his 'trip' when he was Knighted by Her Majesty, The Queen.
RIP ...reminds me of my childhood ...what he is saying he means this is a lie , none of players of instruments is really obeying conductor's hand movements...of course it is just symbolic ...if really they were watching his hand movements, this is what would have happened !!
i remember when i was a kid i saw this and he blew a raspberry with his tongue after one of his hand movements, it seems he is mocking music conductors !
Brilliant as ever dear Norman😆

One of Britain's funniest ever men....and a decent boxer I've heard
I love these types of scenes where the audience thinks all the chaos is all part of the act
