- This is the first of two videos showing some much needed upgrades to my home voiceover studio. I show how I installed Sonic Acoustics hexagon tiles (with air gaps) in order to help minimize sound reflections in my recording space.

Aawww, that special logo touch from your wife is adorable 🥰. Thanks for sharing!
Upgrades to home studio are always fun to watch for me. Looking great so far and can't wait to see the final result. Looking forward to part 2!
For some reason I’m just seeing this comment now but thank you!
Great video on sound treatment. Love the little logo that your wife put up for you! Supportive wives are the best!
I’m lucky beyond reason! That’s for sure. Thank you!
D1VO! GREAT video! REALLY good to see your journey and the investments you're making into yourself and your space! Your wife is a LEGEND not just for supporting you obvs, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new studio brand! Brilliant! What an epic touch! You need to get that on a t-shirt too!! 😆👍🏾🎙
@@TrueNorf she already put my logo on a shirt. Great idea to have one for my studio as well!
Such a helpful video! I’m also in the process of treating my space and was trying to think of how to create the gap between the wall/ceiling and the tiles without destroying anything with the double-sided tape (have done it before 😅). Much appreciated!
@@SolariaLoranala I’m glad you found it helpful. I’ll be providing an update in my next video because the painter’s tape isn’t holding up well to the tiles themselves. I have to switch the method.
@@DayOneVoiceover I’ll look forward to the next video then! In the mean time, I’ll try some tests of my own. Time to experiment lol
Love the tips installing the tile. The sign is great. Jessica is a keeper!
@@staciaonmovies yeah she’s aight. Haha
❤😊
Good morning Robert! How's things going? I just received my VocalBooth2Go last week and it's amazing. Dropped my noise floor dropped from -52 to -67. Have a great day!
@@robert_starling that’s great. I have to find a good way to measure my noise floor. The laptop has an incompatibility where Audacity doesn’t show a live meter and I haven’t figured out a way to measure it on my iPad. Not live, anyway.
How do you like the sound of the booth 2go? I’d seen a lot of feedback that it cuts down on noise but can create a boxy sound. Have you done any tests around that?
I'm in the same spot as you where I am quite new and I have even less experience. Do you have other socials I should connect to? I've really been struggling with how to set up based on where my computer is and other challenges but having someone in a similar spot feels kind of good.
@@listerheb I foolishly only have this platform on any of the socials. Or maybe smartly, I dunno. I set up other accounts but haven’t thought about good content for them. But I’m always happy to connect and bounce ideas. At this very moment I’m even re-doing the rules because the painters tape wasn’t strong enough…so the learning continues!
I have part 2 I’ll be doing soon so be sure to subscribe! I’ll share what I did to modify the tiles a bit.
