Don’t remember where I heard it from but the quote “Your body is so much more resilient than you give it credit for. Your body wants to keep you alive just as much as you want it to” has helped my health anxiety countless times

I'm glad your specialty/focus is "health anxiety" because when I was really suffering I couldnt find a Dr...anywhere. My primary care physician lost patience with me and I ended up leaving her. Sadly even though she was a great Dr. and great person she had no idea how to help me. She never even suggested I seek therapy. I did go to a therapist who had no experience with health anxiety so when I experienced my 1st melt down with her she let me go. You were the only outlet I had. Quite often in the wee hours I would watch your videos nearly about to explode with fear but they would get me through the night because I knew you were suffering with me. I live in Phila, Pennsylvania in the USA but youtube connected us...THANKYOU SO MUCH❤

If i have a fearful or negative thought, i shut it down right away by telling myself positive thoughts. It’s greatly helped calm the anxiety i experience with work.

I got recommended your channel by a friend of mine today. I've been experiencing a lot of health anxiety due to a recent ER visit and the possibility that I have a fairly serious medical condition. It's been very scary this last week, especially since I know my anxiety tends to replicate serious symptoms (chest pain, fever, etc), and it's hard to know which one is just the anxiety and which one might be worse. I wrote your quote on my whiteboard by my door, and I hope it will help keep me some peace of mind.

When you feel like there’s always something wrong with you (like feeling sick all the time ) it can come from someone else as a kid saying there’s something wrong with you. If a parent is critical the kid can grow up thinking there is something wrong with them. This is where mine transitioned into health anxiety

Something I share with my clients (and tell myself) that is similar to that quote is, “There are always other options.” So often we keep ourselves stuck on the supposed one or two options and then we lose hope. There are always other options. It is just our choice if we want to seek them or not.

"When you think you've exhausted all possibilities, you haven't." That's a great quote, thanks :) What's helped me has been emptying my mind throughout the day of the health anxieties. I use books like "30 Days to Reduce Anxiety" by Harper Daniels for mindfulness exercises, and do things like write the thoughts on paper and throw them away. It's imporrant to give the mind a break from the thoughts.

I wrote this Bible verse on a sticky note and stuck it to my mirror where I can read it every time I sit down:
    2 Timothy 1:7

Hi Cherelle. I know you have alot of comments so you might not respond but I've watched so many of your videos and they have always made me feel better. I have severe health anxiety and so far have had all the symptoms you've ever had. I haven't been doing well here are a list of my symptoms currently:
Im 44 yrs old. My symptoms have been getting worse. They are almost all the symptoms of brain C. My hair hurts when I touch it, numbness and tingling in my face and many other parts of my body that comes and goes. My face numbness is more a feeling of dry glue to the left of my mouth but the feeling is always there for a few months now. I feel like I'm having articulation problems (but people say they can't tell), light sensitivity, extreme fatigue that doesn't get better with rest, a dizzy hang over head feeling that happens every few minutes behind my eyes and my forehead (best description i read online is brain zaps but its not pain) bouts of nausea, weak feeling in the legs that never subsides (but not clinical weakness), chronic back pain from tail bone to neck. What else could all of these symptoms be?(To test my self I ride my bike 3 miles once in a while but it's difficult) I just really don't want to know if this is something that's really bad. I have a teenager that depends on me and she only has me to care for her. My back pain hasn't been as bad since I stopped editing videos for long periods of time sitting. I have a dr appt tomorrow that I have been waiting 2 months for. I booked the appt because of my back pain but now I have all these other symptoms. I don't want to go to the dr. I don't want anymore tests and I don't want to know if the culprit is something terribly bad. If I do get scanned and it is something bad what happens to my daughter? The fear is too much. 4 years ago I had a brain mri that was clear as well as an emg that was clear. I've also had upper gi, lower gi, liver scan (showing 2 benign hemangemoas) and an ultra sound of my thyroid that was all clear. I have interstitial cystitis that I thought was the C about a year ago. My reasoning is that if my symptoms are what I fear there is nothing I can do about it anyway as far as treatment because I'm the only one that can care for my daughter. Sorry so much 😢 I don't want to feed my health anxiety by having yet another scan.

Also my short term memory is really bad. And I've been messing up my words. For example I called pink juice "pink dress" I do this kind of thing frequently.

Wow. We have so many similarities it’s unreal. Had similar tests. Same experience with drs. It really sucks. I have my second EMG on left side in few weeks. Even had hemangioma on my liver. Now my main symptoms are light shaking and twitching in mostly left hand and arm. Saw neurologist 3 weeks ago and he thinks Physiogenoc twitch. I just don’t trust him for some reason. Didn’t ask many questions and not much of physical exam. It’s scary as hell.

    • @richlegacygaming1420

@danielrezits5902 went to Dr today she gave me a referral for sleep study, physical therapy for my back and to a neurologist. I keep getting that strange wave in my head as I'm sitting here. It happens every few min. The best way to describe it is that it feels like brain freeze without the pain. I can't tell if it's happening with eye movement or positional changes but that's what it seems like. Thanks for the reply. I feel alone in all this.
