It was an honor for Angelina to be part of the kickoff of this several-day conference between Norway and California on new approaches to climate change and new sources of energy. I watched the whole conference and was amazed at the innovations. Norway is well ahead of the U.S. in working on these issues. And Angelina is wonderfully innovative, so the pairing fits perfectly.

A fan from Norway wanted her to sing life at this happening. His name is Haakon, Crown Prince of Norway, and she was mainly talking to him, because she is friends with him and his family.
    Elmar from Germany.

Very difficult to fix things on this earth given the heads that make up humanity but let's enjoy Angelina who, through music, puts a few bricks here and there, let's talk about Michael Jackson and not about pizza and figs ..:) and you always put your unmistakable stamp making you understand, as always, the soul of the song, thanks Josh see you next time.🖐

I just listened to her "This is a man's world". With a compete different voice and way of singing! With the extra rhytmical breath sounds she makes here, you can tell it's tribute to MJ. As usual the text becomes more clear to the listener because of her diction. What a talent!

So soft yet the impact of keeping us there's a world outside of ours with alot of need .. she financially supports children's charities globally.. that's what she did with her prize money rec'd for winning Norway's Got Talent... Not only is she a young Prodigy, she's also a Philanthropist... Pretty cool, very compassionate and proactive.. VERY ANGELINA!! PEACE!!

If the controllers of this world acted out of love than we would have that world. But this world was hijacked long ago when catastrophe struck the world again and the controllers climbed to the top and survived, they changed the history books taking them and what happened out. Think Im talking wack look up the world expo's of the 1890s to 1910s, especially Chicago Expo of 1893. The entire world looked that way before the modern airplanes made destroying things easier. But enough of the dark cloud of his story, listening to Angelina always make the day better.

It was indeed for a royal visit from Norway tot California. You may feel that the song is a bit corny, and that is fine! :-), at the same time, this message of love, hope and understanding is important in these difficult times. I feel Angelina brings this important message in a beautiful fashion. Technically this song is not hard to sing: the range and melody are not taxing. But to make a relatively easy song so beautiful and interesting is really hard. Thanks!

The Billie Holiday, 'breathy', 'whisper-like' technique Angelina applies is mesmerizing,
for sure. Michael's original was great but for a song like this I believe Billie Holiday is
the one you hope to emulate, for no one could put over a heartfelt ballad with as much
emotion laden penetration as Billie could. When Angelina says she wouldn't be the singer
she is if not for Billie Holiday, this is a perfect example of that.

This is so Angelina. Healing the world and making it a better place brick by brick. Her love for humanity is at the top of her list. It is wonderful to see young people engaged and spreading hope for a better future. Thank you for sharing Josh.

Corny? This is a sincere plea from a teen to those in power to work to heal the world for you and for me. Angelina is deadly serious. We all should take her note.

Yeah, I couldn't really believe he used the word "corny"! Had to go back and listen to him again. I don't particularly care for Michael Jackson, but I do for Angelina. And whether it be MJ or AJ, I agree with you that it is a serious song, not to be taken lightly, sung by young people who want the ear of so-called "movers and shakers" of the world, that the world is in serious need of healing with love and forgiveness.

I would like to remind once again what is special about this spectacular performance. Angelina received an invitation to this official event *"virtual visit from Crown Prince Haakon of Norway to the state of California"* , which was held in this form because of the pandemic. Angelina's live performance was part of this event via *Livestream* . Angelina's welcoming words were primarily addressed directly to the Crown Prince, those responsible and the World.
👣💯 *AJ* 💯👣 BTW, I suspect Angelina didn't choose this song for nothing. 🤗

I always wondered about the "Thank You" part at the very beginning until I saw the whole live stream. It is addressed to the Norwegian foreign minister Ine Søreide Eriksen who introduced Angelina to the California delegation just before.

Great reaction, always enjoy them, I like that you don't ramble on for hours. I just wanted to point out that you're watching Angelina sing Heal The World whilst sitting in front of a poster of evil horror movie characters, oh the irony, Lol! 😂

"I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus" is not a Michael Jackson cover. Michael & the Jackson 5 may have covered it at one time, but that song goes WAAAY back before the Jackson's! It was first recorded in 1952, three years before I was even born, by Jimmy Boyd (who was 13 at the time!), and was covered from then on by many artists. My earliest memory of the song is hearing Brenda Lee sing it late 50's or around 1960.

Funny that you said “corny” at the end of your reaction. As I was listening earlier in the song, I was thinking of how Angelina has the ability to make me feel and believe every word she sings. I always felt this song was a little corny and kind of a utopian daydream. Not anymore after hearing AJ sing it.

    • @johnbattles1002
      @johnbattles1002 Рік тому

Better to strive for a utopian daydream than a dystopian, Orwellian nightmare.
