Why does God say "For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." Because if it is written that we don't wrestle with flesh then I always thought I don't have to worry about any evil for I hear but see, and that my guardian protect me from that realm, but from God's will this is what we are fighting. To spend our time and energy on Him and on Loving others in a way that is patient and kind but NOT loving the sin/evil that people do. God will help us but we need to not be exposed to all the worldly influences that make it very hard to follow God because they promote all the things of the world. God says do not be a friend of the world. If we protect our minds and hearts from all the junk on t.v. and movies and music and books and on and on... we will open our minds and hearts up to the Truth and Love of God. Let me save you all some time. This video can be summed up in one sentence: Cain's line was most likely completely wiped out in the flood, and only Seth's (Adam and Eve's son born after Abel's murder) family line continued past the flood thanks to Noah.

@@johnjr578 that's usually what the case is thought to be, and because his father found out from the distraught wife probably, he cursed him through the son that would be born.
It just occurred to me how hard to live a Godly life really is. Cain and The Lord spoke with one another directly and Cain still screws it up. The rest of us have to rely on millennia years old testimonials to hear about Him. Faith is a gift I just haven't received yet.

I don't know why people find the fate of Cain's lineage so hard to believe. It is just like people believe that the Nephilim are still on the Earth. God's Word clearly states that they are long dead and shall rise no more. The Giants after the Flood were Human.
If that was truly the end of the story we wouldn't have unrighteous in the world today. That rebellious, ungodly nature shows up again after the flood among Noah's offspring even though he had been a man that feared GOD. Most Protestants don't know about the book of Enoch, but it tells of the anger of Abel from the grave. We hear in detail the young man's desire for revenge. Abel is not in heaven, but in a valley screaming out to God wanting Cain, and all of his descandants to be cursed and die. He is not in heaven because at this time no one went there; it wouldn't be until the death of Jesus that mankind would be allowed into glory.
A lot of Christians do know about the Book of Enoch. The problem is that the Book of Enoch is considered Pseudo. Because it was written in the second century before Christ. A time God didn't spoke to anyone.
Also Of course Jude quotes Enoch. However if you read Jude 1:14 he said "Enoch prophesied about this man". He didn't said "Enoch wrote about this man". He saying what Enoch said, not what is written in the Book of Enoch.

As a person who studies the bible and puts time into it I just cant help it but call out errors when i see them. You say Eve thought Cain was the Messiah that would save the world? Really? What world? Cain was the first Human being to ever be born. Adam and Eve his father and mother were created and he was the first to be born so there were 3 people on the earth. what world was Kain supposed to save? where does the bible say Eve thought he would save mankind? actually Cain was the first killer to kill another human being. Im genuinely asking if you have a source or if you are applying "what you think" to your teachings. I urge you not to add to God's word and stick to what the bible says. The people he spoke about were all first generation relatives so they would be angry at him for killing his own blood . The Bible is not always in chronological order. For example Cain took one of his sister's as a wife but it's no longer in the Bible because some of the books were taken out and are now considered apocrypha but it is obvious he took a sister there was nobody else on earth except his brothers and sisters.
According to ancient texts, Cain was accidentally killed by his great great grandson, Lamech, during a hunt with Tubal-Cain (Lamech's son). A blind Lamech shot and killed Cain with an arrow after confusing him for a wild animal. So yeah, Cain's family ended up in ruin.
I find it interesting that there has been a rift between Plant Eaters and Meat Eaters since "The Beginning", all through the Bible, up to, and including, the "End Times", yet we never address this point.

I’ve always been confused about this, because if Adam and Eve were the only ppl living, and Cain and Abel were their first seeds, who are “the ppl” that would kill Cain. How old was he, wouldn’t the ppl be his brothers/sisters are some sort of relative? And why would they want to kill him, why would they even consider murdering him if murder was a foreign concept to them, hence Cain being the actual first murderer of that time
Just a thought, but assuming the biblical creation is accurate (or somewhat accurate), would Adam and Eve had counted years in the garden? They weren't subject to death. Time had no real meaning then. Could they have had Cain and Abel in the garden, and maybe Seth as well, and who knows how many other sons and daughters. And none of their ages would matter until the first sin and god's punishment.
Or maybe the biblical creation story is figurative and the universe is billions of years old. The ancestors of man evolved and eventually god reached down and spoke to one of them, Adam, and the whole creation story started then with many thousands or millions of people already scattered around the world.
Before Adam and eve were expelled from the garden of eden they were the only humans on earth. They didn't have any children until after they were put out of the garden of eden. The bible doesn't say exactly how many children they had . It just only names three of their sons. With cain being the oldest. But it does say that they had many sons and daughters. So obviously the people that wanted to kill cain were his own family members.

Quite simple. Adam and Eve were NOT the first humans on Earth. God created all the races, man and woman, simultaneously on the sixth day (and said it was good), and then God rested. Sometime after that God created a specific individual man (“eth ha adam”) and shortly after a specific woman. By the time Cain was exiled the word was full of people of every race.
