- Sky News host Andrew Bolt has discussed the “huge” revolt in Europe as voters become sick of mass immigration and illegal immigration.
“In the Dutch election, in the European election, and yesterday in the first round of the French election for its national assembly. The anti-immigration national rally party of Marine le pen and Jordan Bardella got 33 per cent,” Mr Bolt said.
“The new popular front alliance of socialists and communists and other leftists 28 per cent.
“And the centrist together for the republic party of President Emmanuel Macron down to just 22 per cent.”
Attempting to prevent your country from being over run by outsiders is not a "huge revolt". It is patriotism.

Got to remember that most of Europe's issues are of their own doing back to the Colonial era. England, Belgium, France, Holland, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

Decent Europeans need to acknowledge they colonised and impoverished many of the countries where these refugees are from.

Australians were given a chance to vote on Mass Immigration at every federal election. It sounds like you think you have the right to be consulted every time the government makes a decision.
When you turned up to vote at the last election, what you did was agree to abide by the electoral process and accept the result.
You selected a candidate to represent you and gave them your proxy on the understanding if that candidate was not elected, they would pass on your proxy to a candidate of their choice.
You also agreed to let the popularly elected government make decisions on your behalf without any further consultation until the next Federal Election.

People aren’t asking to be consulted on every decision but on major ones. There used to be a process of white papers where governments did consult the community on major decisions and then produce a response. These don’t happen anymore as participatory democracy has been wound back over the decades. Also another pillar of democracy is the media which is largely now anodyne and more partisan. There was also a process of sending references to the Productivity Commission to provide recommendations after consulting the community on policy issues. This has been wound back also. Governments now avoid transparency and accountability far more than twenty to thirty years ago.

It's plain to me that multi-culturalism can be problematic in these countries where heavy immigration, legal or otherwise, combines cultures which do NOT share fairly similar values. Sweden appears to be a mess as is Germany and France.
