un vídeo elegantísimo, multicultural, de una belleza indescriptible, legado de todas las culturas que han dejado huella en España.
Absolutely mind bogglingly beautiful ❤️ I came across this purely by accident but it's so beautiful.
Bravo, wonderful playing. I love how you deaden the strings here and there, I have never thought to do that, I will try it on my citole.. That brightened my day, thank you :)
Love this sound
You string together beautiful music in a beautiful location
Wonderful video and an even better recording and performance. I hope that you will make a recording / album available one day. I very much enjoy your interpretation of this instrument and its music and would love to hear it in my home in as fine a recording quality as possible. I am happy to have stumbled into this lovely video.
Thank you so much for your comment Matthias!

Very good interpretation and video ;)
great play! who made the beautiful Citole?
This is gorgeous. Is this on Spotify anywhere?
My new asmr
That was a mystical sound of the Citole! Where did you get it? How do you know how to play that?
How is that tuned? By the way you are playing, I suppose it tuned root fifth octave (E b e, for example), which is the same as a cigar box guitar.
Fourth, fifth and octave. Moreover, it's pythagorean tuning.
@@mariademingocarranza forth fifth an octave?????? Where is the root tone? I guess u tuned G d g
@@robabnawaz Forth fifth and octave because there is a drone in G
@@mariademingocarranza Gc dd gg ? from low to high?
How is it tuned? Ty
Amazing! How it tuned?
It's very beautiful video clip. But I mean, this articulation is too... hard for medieval music. Too "folk guitary".
Maybe what you mean with hard articulation is that I strike every note instead of playing different notes by one stroke...I don't know what is your sound idea of medieval music, however, due to the fact that we haven't got any recording from the period, I based my performance on some research about the reconstruction of the citole's performance practice and the medieval instrumental dances. There, we can find some ideas related to the percussive function of the citole and its clearly voiced, bright and sustained tones; so, the plectrum sound is very important. Or maybe what you mean is about the thickness of the plectrum, and you would use a thinner one...In any case, each one has different ideas about the performance of the same piece :) Thanks for your comment!
If you read "the British Museum citole:new perspectives" which is a very comprehensive text about the instrument, you'll find that most sources depict the citole as an instrument for strumming
