Great video, hope the tractor does good, with me being a Massey Ferguson fan, a dairy farmer friend of mine had a 492 and had a lot of trouble with it,jerky clutch some lug nuts always becoming lose and other things, but he believes some of the problems were the tractor being made in the Brazil factory which I think that were most of the global series are made ,he traded it off for a good second hand 383 which is to me one of the best,he believes if he was a buying a new Massey Ferguson he would buy one of the 5s,6s,or 7s out of the France factory to his opinion he believes better workmanship in the France factory than Brazil one, don’t know but that was his thoughts, good luck have a blessed evening
Hate you've had more trouble but hopefully Massey will listen to you about commonsense things like the access theu the floor. I was talking to the Massey booth until i seen yall and decided to see where this goes for you. Glad i don't need a tractor at the moment to really determine my next move
Hopefully our 4707 doesn’t have this problem but at least it doesn’t have def. So maybe it will be easier to work on in that area. We had a 4607 and a 4610 before and just traded the 4610 on the 4707 so far I can’t tell it’s 25 hp less. The cab is a lot nicer and the A/C seems to work better. The 4610 had a bad pto valve when not long after we got it. It’s aggravating when something works sometimes and sometimes won’t.
Been looking at these 4710 cab tractors but man am I second guessing now. Overall . . . . your honest opinion, are they worth it based on power, runability, transmission etc or no?
2200 hours I like it it give 0 issues till the transmission grenaded can’t really answer what I think honestly till they finally get it fixed 🤦🏼♂️🤷♂️ right now I’d not buy one
Some manufacturers do put in an access door for stuff like that. But then you shake your head because the hole is too small to do anything and doesn't line up properly either.
Yes but I’m dang sure going to make sure they hear about crap they need to address I’ll say this they do a lot of head scratching things but they do listen typically
The tractor has the optional access panel now. Problem solved good job.
Nice job👍🏻
Good video

Lets hope this current problem on the MF 4710 is just a teething issue. Touch wood!

Great video. I like the access door idea. How many hours do you have on the tractor and what’s your feeling of it now since you have had it a while

Thanks for sharing the experience. From the issues you’ve had - Would you buy MF again?

I would of made the hole bigger 😂
