It depends on the buffet. I've never cared for Golden Corral and everytime I've went, I've always felt I paid way too much for the foods they served. Haven't gone in over a decade as I'd much rather spend that money on less but better food. However, when I'm in Indiana, I always hit up Journey's as they have an amazing Chinese buffet for maybe $25 or so and the last time I went, a couple of years ago, they still served crab legs, although only one set, at a time. You can always go back up and get more as this prevents people from grabbing the entire crab legs. The food selection is also pretty big, bigger than most.

I don't remember getting sick, and I don't remember MOST of these past years that I've been sick. I JUST got my mind back ALL THE WAY very recently, but I'm stuck in a hospital like bed, unable to walk, with a breathing tube surgically inserted through my neck and into my trachea... It's VERY scary, but Thank God for allowing me the privilege of being alive, and for allowing me to have the honor of having my mind all the way back!! ✝️🙏🏽😇🙏🏼✝️
@youngtc7754 wow... that's a lot deeper than I expected. Good luck out there, man. God will bless you, I promise.
Amen.
Their fried chicken and fried fish all you can eat...and desserts 👍🏻
Dude buffets are actually like the best thing ever created
It depends on the buffet. I've never cared for Golden Corral and everytime I've went, I've always felt I paid way too much for the foods they served. Haven't gone in over a decade as I'd much rather spend that money on less but better food. However, when I'm in Indiana, I always hit up Journey's as they have an amazing Chinese buffet for maybe $25 or so and the last time I went, a couple of years ago, they still served crab legs, although only one set, at a time. You can always go back up and get more as this prevents people from grabbing the entire crab legs. The food selection is also pretty big, bigger than most.
As a senior I take the grandkids. It’s our “no judgement” special meal. They can get whatever they want, but don’t tell their parents🤫
love it!
Cute 🥰!!
Teaching children to lie to their parents. People who feel judgment are stuck with a junior high mentality
@@angelofknowledge9389 Not snitching isn't lying
@angelofknowledge9389 wow you can find the negativity in a Ray of sunshine
This music is pure fire. 🔥
Golden Corral used to be all you can eat under 10 bucks. I remember when I was young, old people talking about how cheap gas and food used to be. I guess I am old now cause I feel their pain. 😂
The best time to go is breakfast close to lunch. You can enjoy both with a small break in between.
@@kccodex8931 At the right time, you’ve got steak and eggs for breakfast.
GC is a certified hood classic 👌 this where you take the fam when you get that first check from the new job 😅
The Golden Corral in Prescott AZ. Closed a few years ago because of a kitchen fire. It was very popular and the food was always good. IT STILL HAS NOT REOPENED ! There was always a large group of patrons ! Please open it again !
The fucking rolls made me cry trying them for the first time
❤❤❤ how weird is I'm going there April 6th for the breakfast buffet yum😅
I love their yeast rolls with the honey butter ❤
It’s well worth the price, the Rolls are delicious 🤤
Yes it's justified. We need one here in Northern Cali.
They have a location in the East Bay (Concord)
There is one in north highlands also in Sacramento county
Had many a buffet at Golden Coral, as avisitor to the USA I find it good food and great value.
spot on!... good food, great value..
Those rolls are amazing, and the best part about going there imo
Yes with honey butter
I would never go there before this video and you now solidified my inner thoughts, thank you
I love golden corral. Sure most things are bland or mid but you get HELLA FOOD
Their pot roast is 🔥. That’s pretty much what I eat there.
Best item there
With mashed potatoes 😋
Golden Corral may not have the best food out there, but it sure as heck fills you up.
I agree! Not only that but the Golden Corral is the place to go out & eat with your somewhat excessively overweight lil' something something squeeze on the side, you heard me right, lol! It would otherwise be too costly at a conventional restaurant to buy enough food for the both of you (but mostly her) to get totally full.🤓👍
@@wisdomlounge4452I hope that was in your youth. don't cheat on your wife man that's not cool. If you was a real pimp you could get anyone you wanted no need to cheat
@@wisdomlounge4452so will a double rice double beans and double veggies chicken
bowl from chipotle for 9$
I could eat a pot full of rice for 50 cents and get full. And it would be as enjoyable as eating at Golden Corral.
Man 20 bucks will get you some incredible food all around. 2 cans of beans will fill you up but that doesnt justify eating 4/10 food for that price
Golden Corral is so good. You have to get the right stuff. Their breakfast buffet is even better.
My parents loved going with us every time they visited from Nigeria. This and another similar style restaurant back in the late 90s early 2000s
I remember going to a Golden Corral on opening weekend when everything was perfect. Never had an experience like that one again
This guy reviews are A1 he keep it real but doesn’t disrespect the restaurant nor cooks, give a honest opinion but doesn’t bash on the review. 👍
He missed some of the best things: dry fried catfish, fried chicken, and 7 hour cooked pot roast. All when they first come out. I sit where l can watch them being brought out and go $10.49 seniors lunch.
It probably varies between locations (unless you’re talking about that particular one) the one in my area doesn’t have catfish and I don’t think they have pot roast either.
You gotta go to Golden Corral during breakfast hours the breakfast food is amazing
agree, love breakfast there...
Yes 🙌
Agree
Indeed
I agree. They make the best breakfast omelets stuffed with whatever you want. When I use to go on the weekend I would have the chef make me a stuffed omelet. I add hashbrowns on the side and a few sausage patties and waffles. After that I am done. I can't eat anything else.
That Taco looked mad good
I remember when it was 10.99 for one person. My friends and I would go all the time. Loved it.
Best memories growing up was going to Golden Corral with my friends on random Friday nights.
Golden Corral is definitely quantity over quality. The best thing I had the last time I went was the fried shrimp.
Love the Always Sunny music.
Its public doman music...not always sunny music...its free to use
@@protector22222 Thanks professor dickweed.
@@protector22222okay fucking master oogway.
I’m glad you actually base your reviews on if it’s worth it or not cause a restaurant can be terrible but for a poor person without a lot of money it would be better than a 5 star
Amazing food for a cheap price! Great for families
It's ok , Amazing is Applebee's or a 5 star restaurant.
absolutely!!!
Totally agree. Gordon corral ain't too shabby. It's edible lol
Gordon Corral is crazy
Nowadays, most restaurant meals over $25 per person... I guess, all you can eat buffet with ok and maybe a couple good items , It's worth it!
I used to go to one in Maryland. I thought it was very good. I liked the ribs and the fried chicken. A couple owned it, and they did a great job taking care of their customers.
I always get a big salad with blue cheese dressing and add cut up steak. You can't go wrong with a veggie salad.
Good idea! Imma try that next time!
Golden Corral is American School Lunch but you actually pay for it
is way better than American school lunch😂 atleast where I live it is
Golden Corral is the place to go out & eat with your somewhat excessively overweight lil' something something squeeze on the side, you heard me right, lol! It would otherwise be too costly at a conventional restaurant to buy enough food for the both of you (but mostly her) to get totally full.🤓👍
Damn, steak was served at your school lunch?
@@DoomBoy2005right? XD
@@DoomBoy2005 naur 😔😔😔😔
I miss golden corral, they closed all of them here in Michigan.
Too many blacks up there
@@MrBojangles-er4hd Well, if that's the case, then lots of stuff in Houston, Texas, need to close. Because we're hit with the Black Plague down here.
I'm a meat & potatoes, regular food kinda guy. We don't have Golden Coral near by but I'm pretty sure I'd love it . 😊
Damn they definitely been taxing compared to when I stopped going as a kid
He missed out on that fried shrimp
@@Noah_Fence713Tried everything. Couldn’t include it all in this Short
@shophocho7798 how was the fried chicken? Probably the best thing they have.
yea the people who authorize the printing of money, (congress) and the spending bills they pass without reading that the special interest groups write, definitely are taxxing, even if only 30% of your income is OFFICIALLY taxed.
Depending on the location you can get really good steak the way you want
I mean, you can totally get $17 worth of food at Golden Corral. It's just a matter of if you like it and what you pick.
You gotta go to the buffets with the Asians running shop” it might be greasy but they got flavor “ 🔥
I need to go back & start hitting the buffets , have not been to one since 2020 ,the pandemic messed it up for alot of us!!😷
Turns out buffets are fine and wearing a mask against a virus is the equivalent of throwing pea gravel through a chain link fence. Enjoy!
Golden Corral breakfast is way better than their lunch or dinner. You get some good omelets.
Yes
Gotta go during steak time. They actually have good steak!
They do!
Medium rare with grilled onions, mushrooms and mashed potatoes. It hits. Can’t forget the hot sauce
In my opinion as a lover of both steak and hot sauce, if your steak needs hot sauce to taste good, it’s not a very good steak…
sure do!
@@terryseidel8991 i bring a zip lock and take a couple steaks home. Thin slice them and pan heat them in the morning with some over medium eggs lol.
when I was a kid, Golden Corral felt like a magical place
Goodness I miss Todai Seafood Buffet
Todai was the bomb back in the day especially when they had lobster and free bday dinners
It was good while it lasted 😢
LOL damn thats a name ive forgotten
😂the name bring bad mojo
Todai was awesome! Right off the 8 freeway right? Took my wife many years ago on a Valentine’s Day and they hooked it up!
When I go here I get like 4-5 steaks then whatever else. Just for the steaks it’s worth it. Is it excellent? Not at all, but it’s a better value than any other food spot for the same money given the selection and unlimited portions
He didn't rate the fried chicken. That's the best thing they have.
It usually is to me
Last time I was there I ended biting into a fried chicken breast that was super raw 😢 I never went back
Chicken tenders are pretty good
I go there all the time it's a Great buffet. Their steak is very good I think Golden corral is one of the best buffets around.😊
Golden corral gave my sis food poisoning and I think the ones around me closed down cause of Pandemic
Nostalgia hits hard nevertheless though,
It's like Hometown Buffet.
That company ceases to exist
My nearby Golden Corral closed down, because of the plandemic. The one that stayed open, the cooks have a heavy hand with the salt. Miss the other one.
yea the one i actually semi enjoyed closed down during the scamdemic, and the other one did temporarily but reopened, but its extra ghetto
Me and my boys always hit golden corral on the way home from skiing all day. By that point were starving and just want a big amount of food and when youre that hungry everything taste good! Goated status fr.
Thank you for being quiet and respectful in the restaurant
That’s easily the nicest-looking Golden Corral I’ve ever seen
Try the pot roast, and fried fish next time, plus candied yams.🤤🤤🤤
I love the Golden Corral ❤
I remember going to college lunch time you could get 5 dollars for the buffet with your student id. It was a life saver, especially stashing extras for the next day. The best for struggling to stay afloat
