I am currently building the Tamiya kit and really enjoy the detail and the amazing fit. Such a pleasure to work with.
Having build both of these kits, I have to give the edge to Kinetic. It goes together really nice and has great decals out of the box. The only two negative things I can say is no seat belts/pilot and that weird 1980s engine piece. Otherwise the Kinetic detail surpasses Tamiya. Which I hope it would if you are doing a kit 16 years later.
Im building the KG kit atm and the model is gorgeous but these instructions are great for toilet paper lol
Built both ...both great kits ...I give tamiya a slight edge for weapons and kinetic a slight edge for exhaust nozzle. The detail on both are close but the kinetic one is a lil more detailed. I got my kinetic F-16C FOR 39+ SHIPPING and Tamiya CJ for 42 + Shipping . I would recommend both but if you can only get one go for the kinetic C for 39 and dig in the stash for aim 120 and aim 9 ...both are not great on the kinetic kit but the gbu and tanks are nice. You also get a sniper pod in the kinetic Falcon 👍 along with the jammer and older pods. I think the Kinetic A and D are around 72$ + shipping. All great kits to have a blast with HAPPY SCALING 👋.

2022년이 2007년을 이기지 못하는.. 휠베이 쪽의 '일부' 디테일을 제외하면 키네틱의 완패로 보입니다. 가격 메리트라도 있으면 몰라도...

To tell you the simple answer, if I wanted to build a NATO MLU viper I'd buy Kinetic and if I wanted to build a USAF viper I'd buy Tamiya. I've heard good things about the Kinetic one and I've already build the Tamiya ANG version, which was excellent.
More detailed is kinetic but i prefer Tamiya up to 30years as a plastic models, rc electric, rc with nitrous etc! Love Tamiya ❤

저는 좋은 추억을 가진 타미야 카트로 가보겠습니다. 개인적으로 디테일이 좋더라도 분할이 제대로 되어있지 않다면 의미가 없다는것을 멩 f--35를 만들면서 절실히 느꼈거든요

I have the 2022 RSAF and Texas ANG F-16Cs from Kinetic in 1/48 and all the Tamiya 1/48 F-16s from 2007 and on. Still haven’t built them. Still got a partially-built kinetic F-16D kit (old mould) but this vid will make me wanna build them at the same time!

パーツ単体で見るとキネも良いけど、組んだ時のF-16らしさはタミヤ製。

As far as accuracy, kinetic energy. But fitment and enjoyment….. Tamiya. Kinetic requires a little elbow grease but its a great choice as well.

음... 저는 키네틱이 더 끌리긴 하네요... 키네틱의 몰드가 더 선명한거같고, 타미야는 고증은 좋을지언정, 너무 몰드들이 뭉개진거같다는 느낌을 주네요... 일부 오류야 메꾸고 다시 그려주면 되고... 타미야 패널라인 싹 다시 파주는것보단 키네틱이 낫네요... 단점은... 키네틱의 무장 분할인데, 무장이야 잔뜩 쟁여놓다보니 저한테는 단점도 아니군요...
Tamiya for fitment but nice looking details on the kinetic kit.

GE엔진 사양의 부품을 세팅하면 얼추 될 것 같은데...엄청난 삽질을 할 것 같아서 좀 두렵습니다. ^^;
