(January 2023) This is a really nice elevator. The speaker in the right car crackles quite a bit though.

These elevators are a beautiful installation, these are extremely smooth as well. I like the new lantern design and I gotta say Otis did a great job on these!

Awesome elevators!! Gen3's are starting to pop up here in the east side of PA! LGH has installed Otis Gen3's as part of the new Ed expansion but unfortunately one has a door problem 😕

Oh really that's cool I personally haven't been in anything but the ED at LGH so I wonder if the older series 1 are still there

@@susquehannavalleyelevators yep the main ones are still there. They were originally haughtons before they got modded by Otis elevonic 411? in the 90s. I have been told by an Otis tech that they will be getting replaced sometime in the fall. Probably the same with the old westys modded by Otis elevonic 401 (staff elevators).

I have never ever been on an Otis Gen 3 elevator before. But are they the same drive system as an Otis Gen 2 just different controller, I guess I am not sure what the difference is other than the new LCD lanterns.

I would LOVE to see them use the concave buttons on these new Gen 3 elevators here in North America! I think supposedly they might do that. Maybe make it look similar to those Euro OTIS2000s they installed overseas and in Mexico?
