As much as I’ve found it “fun” getting a chance to do tillage in March, I’d rather have snow cover and moisture. I feel like it’s going to come back to haunt us. Did you have a dry 2012?
Thankful that it has gotten cooler again this past week. But still so far away from our normal warm up that I don’t quite know what to expect yet. Hoping and praying for the fruit guys, since I know that’ll be pretty dicey until May
I actually don’t do any no-till. But I do yield map all of the fields so I have a better idea where to variable rate my planter. Most of the sand/lighter ground gets a lower population. But I do tillage on all of it though.
@@RemembranceFarmsLLChow do you irrigate? Does rain do this job for you? By the way I'm a 17yo n this season I'm going to do with a thousand acres with my unskilled team to make couples of million dollars in HR India

AJ says where he’s at in Iowa in February he was dryer now than in 2012

Are you doing any yield comparisons between notill and disc ripping?

Hello Sir.. How many acres you farm with?
Thank you for asking!
Right now I do 150 acres of cash crop corn. I could do more, but for me, I’m still learning before expanding.
