Setting festool domino df 500 with a feeler gauge

What I am going to do here is to find centre on our domino, so we don't have to use the flip stops.
I can just flip the piece and by doing this we save of time the set stop on the domino doesn't give centre points of odd thickness of components.
Say I want to have a one inch finished piece I might start off with one inch and 32,000 over thickness so after I have assembled the piece, I will then sand it to one inch!
