Yeah, the games will stay on the SD. What happens is a placeholder file is created for whatever game/channel off the card you're using. If you go from one to another, the first placeholder is replaced with the second.
So, you still need some blocks open on the Wii, just enough to work one game at a time. If you don't plan on using the SD card for a while, you can always go in and delete the placeholder file. (It'll be an SD card icon in the channel data section)

Is there any way to turn off the bubbly music and sound effects of the wii menu? Or the warning message about not throwing your controller through a tv... I get it already. I like the system but that bubbly music drives me crazy!

I dind´t understand...how do you update that? because I want a sdcard because ai want a lot of games but if my wii dies, if I get another wii, I don´t know if the games in my sdcard works in other wii...well it doesn´t matter, How can I do if I want the wii read the games from the sd card?

each SD cards has about 20 channels for games :) if you didn't know

@SuPeRlOqUeNdEr03420 My wii can read copies, and I have downloaded many games as wads like you said, What I'm trying to do is to put games into the sd card so I can save space on the Wii, but it seems like you must have the game installed on the Wii memory or I don't know if I'm wrong. Is it possible to run games from de sd card??

OK, so VC/WW save data can't be ported over. That's fine, no big deal since they're so small anyway.

well wat it does it makes a temporary game that ur playing on wii menu to launch it so u need space to let it make the game on wii menu funtil u r done playing game

to play a game u need enough blocks on ur wii memory i would b safe at 400 blocks on internal memory so u can play games or it wont launch

That doesn't really matter. It's not like save data takes up alot. And Nintendo's had a lock like that for a while now.

umm my friend saved a VC game to his SD card and brought it to my wii but when I tried to play it through the SD card option it said that it couldn't be played on my wii.. Do you know why?
