I love your videos. I started knitting one week ago and I can already do 4 patterns! Your explanations are clear and you offer all the info I need. Thank you and greetings from Québec, Canada.
Thank you, Carolina! This looks like a very nice alternative to stockinette. Not only a visual variant, but a stitch that is not as monotonous to knit. Lovely!
Hi Carolina! I ALWAYS enjoy your videos bc your voice is so pleasant, patterns are wonderful, and your instructions so clear. Thanks for continuing to teach us all! ❤
❤🎉 thanks for this new idea of knitting I will really enjoy this for the new year 2025 hope to make lots of pretty things thank you again keep the new ideas coming❤
I am intrigued.....❤ yer channel ... Still can't change over from my Eastern knitting style to throwing English.... It may not be very hard to do except for I get dyslexic every time I think about it. Until I get my sticks in my hand and watch you at the same time, I will probably never find out that it's exactly the same and I'm just getting "thrown" by the throwing.
No worries, in this tutorial I explain how to do it in Continental. The only change you need to make is to knit 2 together normally (not through the back loop like here: ua-cam.com/video/9Yg_nf8_9p0/v-deo.htmlsi=LhkNj6bhFO67BeRk
I love your video and you have a very calming voice. But I have run across something I may be misunderstanding. The written directions seem to differ from the video. In the latest, on the second row, you knit two. There is no compensation for that on the alternate row, so what happens is a decrease occurs. I assume I went wrong somewhere, but I don't know where.
Hello! Thank you for your input. The instructions are correct; although we’re knitting 2 stitches together, there are no decreases, because an extra stitch is created every time you bring the yarn to the front. There’s nothing to compensate 😉 Take a look at row 1 again, from the beginning, and you’ll see what I mean. Happy knitting 🤗❣️

Just dropping in to say that I am knitting the 'reversible braids/wishbone' stitch and enjoying it so much, thank you for sharing the pattern. ❤❤
Oh yes! That’s a lovely pattern! Thank you for letting me know 🥰
Does this pattern curl like stockinette does? I’m thinking that this pattern might make a lovely scarf.
I made 2 swatches using different fibers, and didn’t curl. Knit yours and see 😉

How can I use this on a pattern I'm following? Can I change what the pattern is asking of me? Like to the raglan sweater pattern you have.
Does this stitch pattern work in the round the same way?
I’m afraid not. I haven’t tried it yet, but I can tell that in the round purling is essential…
