Grand Falls-Windsor NYE Fireworks Use PSA - CMHA NL

This holiday season, the Town of Grand Falls-Windsor encourages our citizens to only use fireworks on December 31st (New Year's Eve) between 6:00 PM and 1:00 AM, and we ask that you notify your neighbours before you do so.
The unexpected discharge of fireworks can affect both people and animals in a variety of ways. When the use of fireworks is planned in advance, and the community is notified, those individuals can be prepared.
In the video, Amy Palmer with the Canadian Mental Health Association - Central Region NL explains the variety of issues that fireworks can cause for members of her community.
