I absolutely love it when you react to Taras because you are an absolute hoot and get into it and explain things in great detail…and who could ask for more, right? I’m really glad that you explain as much as you do about the production portion of this. I think sometimes people forget this is music and not just beatboxing by itself and that Taras treats this like music, but still in an extremely minimal way that doesn’t distract from what he’s actually creating with his voice. I suppose maybe if people would think about street performers, the difference between the guy that brings a tiny amp that doesn’t really do much except literally make the sound of their guitar louder, for example, and how it sounds, if there’s more equipment on board, such as a better amp, or any other equipment that doesn’t detract or make the performance fake, but just makes it better and richer sounding, maybe people would understand a little bit more about what Taras is doing here. He’s creating music. And there’s a lot that goes into that, included recorded tracks and videos. Two of my sons are musicians, both guitarist and very talented. They can play acoustic guitar and it sounds awesome, but of course they nor any other guitarist who plays in electric guitars going to treat that electric guitar the same way they would treat an acoustic, and even nowadays acoustic guitars need a little help too. He talked about that Eklipse clip you showed in his podcast with Anthony Ray, Eshplume, and Speedshock; it's so cool that you knew that! Aside from reverb and delay, the only reason he uses audio engineering is to bring the soul back into his music that is lost when he converts his analog recording to digital, to my understanding. But he's a master at what he does with his postproduction no matter what he does. It always sounds ethereal and has such an addictive vibe!
