Evan should have said the Red ones was the nicest and Carlin would have picked it. LoL. That’s what I do with my daughter.
I am a 65 year old disabled widowed woman. I enjoy watching this family. I have two sons and they are still single but I would hope that someday they have a family like this. So for now, I watch these two. Thanks for the joy!

Make sure you keep water in your tree stand we were really busy one year got our tree the week of Thanksgiving and forgot to put water in the stand it dried out the week before Christmas had to go get another tree thank goodness there's a tree farm about 6 miles from where we used to live. I had 3 small children working full-time we just forgot about the water. I won't ever forget again there was thousands of dry needles all over the carpet it stuck in the fibers and it was awful using the sweeper caused it to blow had to throw it away. I sat on the floor for hours picking up pine needles my husband was working out of town so he wasn't able to help out. A friend brought over my new tree and took out my old one so that helped so much. God bless your family. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. ❤

I’m glad your tree didn’t catch fire, you’re lucky. If you was losing Pine needles from it being dry, it was at a big risk. I’m sure you know this, but if someone don’t, maybe this will save their home, tree, or even LIFE!
Such a fun tradition.. we always get a real tree and cut it down ourselves the day after thanksgiving, it’s my favorite tradition ever!!🤍🌲
Its Sunday I am watching you guys & writing this, the song you mentioned I just heard that this morning - Goodness of God - if we are talking about the same song by bethel, I believe. "All my life you have been faithful...." "Your goodness is running after me...," if the same song I LOVE IT TOO! Had a moment this morning listening & worshiping to it - so beautiful! One thing about christian music - it never gets old because of the lyrics. Im a HUGE music fan - christian that is; I love all kinds from christian country (and I am african-american - common but not too much for some of us) to christian hip-hop (Im an old school Toby Mac fan & also a Third Day & Mac Powell fan and, have to add from the old days - Rebecca St. James and now her brothers For King and Country and so on and on). As long as it acknowledges and / or shows reverence to God & is not too far off somewhere strange - if that makes sense. Okay, sorry got carried away about music on another note the food looked good & loved the tree you guys chose - cant wait to see it decorated. God bless you guys!

Love you guys. Beautiful tree. You should have put it in a bucket with water and kept it outside. If it dries up while you are in Nashville it will form a seal and not get water and dry up. Not only will it dry out, but you will have a fire hazard! (Should have looked that up, Evan!) Not meaning to criticize, but I worry. I have a 14 month old great-granddaughter and another granddaughter on the way in April. Plus 12 grandchildren and 3 kids and their spouses. Merry Christmas and PLEASE keep that tree watered!

I grew up with a real tree every year♡ so my little family does a real tree now too. I also decorate with all live greenery (different types) and holly berry tree branches through out my home. Love it. So cozy and smells SO good. Especially with cinnamon pine cones everywhere as well. ♡♡♡♡♡

I wish I could have a real tree, but my apartment complex rules won't allow it. I did put my tree up last week, my little 3ft tree bit the dust so I bought a 7 ft skinny tree and I love it!! I so enjoy your videos, I look forward to them each week! Can not wait to see your tree all decked out!!

This past year we have all had challenges and struggles. We all need to be reminded from time to time how blessed we are, truly, and grateful to Him and what He did for us.

Let me explain what God did for us. We weren't planning on cooking for Thanksgiving because it's just my daughter her son and myself. My daughter in law had to have surgery and got out Thanksgiving day. Last Sunday we had a big meal at our church. I was able to bring the leftover ham home. Plus another member gave us her leftover dressing and rolls. So Thursday I made stuffed eggs plus green beans. We had so much food I sent some home with my son for him and his wife. Little is much when God is in it!!!!

My 13 year old daughter told me this year she doesn't care for Thanksgiving food. I was relieved to hear Carlin say it too lol. So many people have it so much worse each and everyday. I'm trying to remind myself of that daily.
