This channel was basically all I had for one part of my childhood and ill never forget some of the shows let alone PSAs i saw lol
Thats something to go off the air on a tv station.
Canadians are being screwed royally for not getting the sort of TV still available to us down here.
At the same time, how much are local TV stations getting from cable TV retransmission fees? In Canada, that's $0.

Bell Media should have acquired CJBN - TV Kenora from Corus Entertainment (formerly Shaw Media G.P.) and turn it into either a CTV owned and operated TV Station or a CTV 2 Owned and Operated Television Station in Northwestern Ontario then Bell Media would have acquired the former CBWT - TV rebroadcast transmitters in Dryden, Fort Frances, Red Lake, Sioux Lookout, Red Rock-Atikokan, Ontario on Digital RF and PSIP VHF Channels in Northwestern Ontario.
Wouldve been nice to have as I used to watch this channel as a kid and now realizing half the shows i watched on their were obscure and hard to find makes it suck more

ZzxxCrafter02xx Gaming Canada seems to have a problem when it comes to ownership and distribution of it's TV signals. I've been told though of satellite companies though offering local stations for free to customers otherwise but that just seems rather half-ass as a response.
It just seems rather sad not to have a TV out of the house with you if you wanted to watch something on it while on the road but I guess that's just me.
@@ChristopherSobieniak In this day and age the only way anybody would get anything is if they still used these types of transmitters but you can barely get anything hooking up to rabbit ears or a vcr anymore. You got free recievers to catch digital signals thats good enough. I dont see why people dont just dl everything rather than paying for internet and tv and never really using either or paying attention to other things in life

Why the shutdown?
Because our Canadian gov't is totally corrupt and doesn't believe in decentralized localized television. They believe in "Centralized" television.
Thing is that with the Internet...this is a HUGE opportunity for Conservative media to step in and fill lin tne gaps on UA-cam. Maybe Rebel Media will one day have a Bureau in NW Ont. Ezra, are you there?
