Thanks for this information. I recently had a "power steering service required " message on the dash . Diagnostic said " high voltage " and "low voltage " fault . Turned out to be a fault in EPS unit . Main dealers say they never had this problem before
I replaced a sensor with a used one and still giving the same codes. I'm thinking it is the power steering internal sensor in the power steering unit unless the car only needs new one and not used for replacement. Let me know what you think.
@@Dinamikass I tried calibration but it fails. Set those codes immediately during key cycle. When I checked freeze frame the angle is read over 700 degrees but when I check live I don't see the angle change at all. Not sure which sensor sends the angle position to the scanner, it only says "steering angle" for data pid. I have tried two other used sensors but those did not talk to the scanner at all.

Благодаря!
How did you got to solve the Issue? Did you replaced the part ?
Its posible to fix, but you must go inside epprom chip and fix data. Before that you must try recalibrate sensor with diagnostic tool .
Bro which one is the one that gives the asc off? The first yellow wheel that you removed or the second one behind that white plastic things? Thanks
Its second one, first is airbag spring cable.
@@Dinamikass thanks bro
Do you have the file to program the EEPROM of the steering angle sensor?
No
Did the sensor need to be replaced? Or did you fix it? how? i have citroen c-crosser. thank you

after you change you must calibrate sensor with diagnostic equipment, also its possible you replaced damaged sensor

What did you do to fix it pls
The sensor you tried to open is faulty, replace it
i have repaired it and its works again
@@Dinamikass how did you repair it? any problems now?

have you cleaned sensor, if so how
If you need clean , you can try open it and blow with air
