- Rishi Sunak was in front of the Liaison Committee answering questions from the chairs of Parliament's Select Committees.
The Mr Slick persona doesn't work too well once you have to answer direct question to a room of your peers.

So much for Sunak's "integrity, professionalism and accountability at every level”. We have yet another liar for a PM obviously.
They think they're so clever not answering questions but it just comes across as very childish.

I was talking to a Tory-supporting friend the other day. She was singing Rishi's praises for 'steadying the ship'. God, are we screwed.
My god sunak needs to go if he cannot answer just one question he was asked. He actually couldn't answer even one question. We need a general election ASAP.

The trick of Sunak's vapid public school boy energy is to send you to sleep before you realise he hasn't actually answered your question
That's what I want from a leader, the ability to blabber and obviously weasel out of answering any question.
There should be some punishment for not answering a question clearly after three attempts. He just gets away with it repeatedly.

Brilliant question. When he is on ground that he thinks suits him he's super enthusiastic when it is challenging his real agenda he's dismissive, patronizing and sounds uninterested. It's a tricky one for him he backed Brexit, still shouts about it and knows he sunk the UK financially.
His entitlement is ripping out of him.
