While I believe unity is the only way forward, even as an Englishman, I don't see the current way being it. I would actually like to see the UK collapse (as a union, not like into a 3rd world country), and the individual countries to realise that alone, they'll suffer, and join the EU independently.
Scotland wants to leave? Well im in Glasgow and the last time i checked we voted to stay in the UK and the SNP are now a laughing stock worldwide. Under Salmond yes id be up for leaving... but not under the current leftist SNP. Everyone i know agrees so im not sure you are allowed to speak for Scotland tbh.
@@iainwalker8701leaving the EU was the best thing the UK has done. The EU is at the end of its life and about to implode and take every economy with it. Even the top brass at the EU are all bailing out to nato and the WEF as they know the ship is sinking. You clearly arent watching are you?
@MrJalasKelm also, let's not forget that Brexit didn't necessarily have to be this way. During negotiations, a norway type deal was proposed to Theresa May. It would have kept us a member of EFTA and EEA, and retain the four freedoms that come with EU membership. Theresa May refused this, and later so did Boris Johnson. Brexit was ultimately supposed to entail not being a member of the EU, not necessarily diverging as far away from it as possible. Boris Johnson opted for a hard brexit, hence why the UK is in the economic dilemma it currently finds itself in.
This is way more insightful and has more clout than the circus which is PMQ's. Mind you, if he could, Sunak would dodge the liaison select committee as well!
Yeah but he actually can though, because that's exactly what he's doing.
