I've watched just about every Enchroma glasses video available, and your reaction is the best I've ever seen....I kept getting teary-eyed watching your reactions, Bobby! Purple is my favorite color, and watching the absolute awe on your face each time you saw purple was wondrous...and your shock when you saw the green traffic light made me laugh out loud. SO happy for you!
Those were great locations to go, first time I've seen someone go see some stained glass. An Aquarium or even fish store would be good too all the saltwater fish are so colorful. I am wondering if it would be a little more gentle to start off in a drab place and work up to more vivid colors, because so many people just get totally overwhelmed. Like a sensory overload Is the son colorblind too?
Purple was royalty color because high price of the pigment that time and the others pigment colors were difficult to get. The people dont use color dresses until near 1850.
"I don't even believe this color." "My brain doesn't know what to do with this color." Aha, I'm so glad these glasses were invented for colorblind people. =D
I got my pair of glasses last week and was amazed by the amount of different colours there is on this planet. I am transfixed on nature programs now and cannot believe how many different colours and shades there are..
It's my favorite color as well when he said he understood why purple was for royalty my heart swelled a bit. Purple also represents spirituality and the color of the crown chakra. It's a powerful color.
"i can't even believe that color, what is that color!?" "thats orange" that is such a crazy thing. its so beautiful to see grown people asking what colors are. because they're never seen them. i love it.
Choosing a florist shop and the stained glass was BRILLIANT, been watching colorblind videos for a couple years, and this is the best. Awesome job, kudos
Oh my God He's like a kid in a candy factory. He is a treat to see. Loved every second of this video. Thankyou for filming. BLUuuuuuuuuuu Perfect place to be. Very intelligent choice of place. Flower shop! Eyes color.... A very sensitive sensible guy. Lucky girl.
Inspired choice of locations. The flower shop was a feast for the eyes, even for someone who's not colour blind, and the stained glass windows are just beautiful.
This is by far the best of these videos - I think it’s hard to get a decent explanation most of the time because more men are colorblind than women and men tend to be pretty close-lipped about things. His reactions are MAGNIFICENT - it’s what i imagine most people are thinking when they encounter colors as babies but they just don’t have the words for it yet - this is fascinating and beautiful and, especially as an artist, so exciting to watch unfold in someone. I’d love to know if people have watched movies like “pleasantville” and “the wizard of Oz” with these glasses on and have found the color changes to be at all similar to their experiences.
I agree, gillianrose72608. Watching him study the colors and being able to distinguish the varied amounts of color in a single flower was beautiful. My favorite part was him looking at his children's eyes. I'm so happy for your, Bobby.
As kids we are taught colors belong to someone pink for girls blue for boys everyone misses out on purple because it's connected to "girls". This man and wife were awesome.
Such an inspiring show of unashamedly child-like joy side-by-side with awed mature appreciation upon encountering the ineffably-beautiful *gloriousness* of certain light-frequencies in this world. The psychological set (confidently trusting a laid-back, positive-vibed companion-guide) and physical setting (no-pressure privacy in a fragrant flower-shop) were optimum for a good trip. I had to take acid to achieve anything like this state -- to appreciate for the first time the enormity of what my senses had always been showing me, but which I was stupidly blind to! Many cheers!
Virginia Taylor because a lot of people that are colorblind can't see the colour red, and purple is a mixture of red and blue, so since they can't see red, they're unable to see the color purple.
Fantastic job by the person behind the camera!!! This is the first video I've seen where the color blind person is actually allowed to discover all the colors around them on their own. So wonderful to watch a grown man's childlike joy of discovery.
+Alissa Odedra Thank you for watching! I was trying hard not to cry at the beginning but it was all so overwhelming. I am still finding new colors each day even though my brain isn't sure what to make of them. Good thing my wife and kids have normal color vision so they can teach me the right words!
This has been my favourite enchroma video I've watched and believe me I've seen a lot, I've been binge watching them for like 2 days! You chose the perfect places to go and had an absolutely gorgeous reaction, really makes you appreciate what beauty there is in the world, even when you might not realise it!
his reactions are good. the girl recording it seems kind of robot-ish. she seems to have little enthusiasm. she's happy, i'm sure. i just can't tell. it doesn't matter, i guess. good for you bobby!
I further agree, love seeing the responses (Go Purple!) but the most useful and one you feel what he feel is this... you brought it home for many. Now to surprise you a bit, my vision is just fine, but I suffer from severe depression caused by a bad stroke 10 years ago and I watch these for the joy and wonder factor that gives me a stimulant and a weapon against the depression. Your video made a whole week better just on it's own, impressive indeed!!!
This was so great to watch...I can only compare it to a blind person seeing for the 1st time.... I smiled the whole time! Congrats Bobby on the beautiful world of color!!!!!
I've been watching these for days. The new glasses wearers are always amazed by purple and orange. Many of them don't even know what to call orange: they've never seen that color before.
By far the best reaction. Your Wife is awesome for this setup! So glad you got such a great improvement, so happy for you. Enjoy your new world, its beautiful!!
This was the perfect way to do a color reveal! The places you brought him were beautiful and they had so many colors. Thank you for sharing that with us.
Thanks for watching, Jeannette. My wife is pretty awesome, isn't she?! I've had the glasses for almost a year now and am still finding "new" colors. Football turf is REALLY green!
How are you supposed to watch this without crying? :) I bought my boyfriend these glasses for Christmas and I get so emotional just from the idea that he will experience colours in a fresh way. And purple!!!
It worked perfectly!!!! Overwhelming, emotional and eye-opening. he was shocked that it actually worked, because he thought that he wasn't totally colour-bling. We were both mega-happy!
This is my favorite reveal of color using the glasses. The flower shop and church, his kids faces...those glasses should be made available by all insurance companies ...
This was the best setting I've seen yet for a person to try out the glasses for the first time; it's a riot of bright colors of all kinds. I've been disappointed with a few other videos where the person was in a drab location with few colors to experience.
Thanks for watching! I watched several reaction videos before I got my glasses and I wanted to make sure I had plenty of things to look at when I first put them on. The flower shop was very nice to let me have my first experience with purples and oranges at their place.
I love watching Enchroma videos. Seeing the reactions - the wonder and joy on people's faces - it always makes me cry. What an incredible invention. Your reaction to purple, when you said you understand why it's the color of royalty, was just magical. So happy for you! :)
If you're showing someone colors for the very first time take him, or her, to the most colorful place you know and make the person cry tears of joy. Great job wifey.
I've been watching so many of these Enchroma videos over the past few weeks, and I have to say that this one stands so far above the rest. I love the fact that your wife just lets you experience it rather than peppering you with questions. She is the first person in all of the ones I've seen that seems to realize that this experience is about you and not how fun it is for her to see your reactions. I'm not sure who chose the locations, but going to a church to see the stained glass was an act of brilliance. I'm also deeply impressed with how thoughtful you are during your exploration of these colors. You go way beyond how different they are with the glasses compared to without them. In addition to considering the way they look, you think about how the colors make you feel and how they are represented in history and society. Thank you so much.
Instead of crying he turned into a color mad scientist laugh which is very cute and I'm really glad that she didn't blab and blab and let him just figure things out and let him wander around and have time to digest things good job
@@kennyholeater2494 why do you try too ruin a persons first time seeing of colors.?. and they are not evil don't you think GOD gave us science too invent these.?. i do.

I love his reaction. Its amazing how people(myself included) can take for granted something so normal as seeing color. You guys picked amazing places to go. That purple was absolutely beautiful.
A church with stained glass windows is the perfect place to do one of these reveals. Too bad I would burst into flames the second I walked through the door! lol

Perfect place for the reveal!!
I love your reaction on the traffic light, it made me so happy watching this video.
Thank you for watching! (I dig your avatar)
Awesome video! I couldn't imagine what it would be like to not see color. It's something I've taken for granted. These glasses are amazing in what they do for colorblind individuals. I would love to get a pair for my father so he can see the beauty in the world just like this.
it's really amazing what this company has made with these glasses. very touching to witness you get excited about these new colours :)
+Helemäd Thanks! With all of the positive response they have received I wouldn't be surprised if they come out with a contact lens version in a year or two.
