Absolutely love this... I have the 750w desert outsider which to be honest I bought as it was on sale from Micheal Blast... I do prefer the black version, but I guess that's just an overhaul away. I'm definatly going to be looking at more power in the near future and I'm loving the idea of a twin motor for the added milage and power/speed. Thank you so much for puttin' up the video... This is extremely useful for me as I'm sure it has been for many others.. I'll be watching close for future videos 😁👍

      Thanks for checking it out
Hope to do another update soon.
Finally have everything for the front suspension 🤞
And have a set of Vee Huntsman tires to swap out
As well as a 72v battery on the way. Hoping to get it under the tank if possible
I liked the desert versions look more personally. Lol
Gorgeous bike and in my opinion one of the best looking available
I think it looks better then the 73s
I never tried the upgraded controller on the factory motor
It might be plenty and is only about $70 but the rewire is a pain, especially when trying to save as much original wiring as possible like I did, but probably shouldn’t have bothered
Have a Blast on your Blast and let me know if you post anything on it
      Take care

I also had the 750w version. I want just thinking of adding a another battery and new controller to see if can get some more juice

@@MinionM00 I think the controller is the main bottleneck. Tiny, took me a while to find it was integrated into the battery mount.
Just adding a decent controller would probably make a big change, but kind of a pain with how it’s tied to the battery.
Have you played with the settings in the menu? I think you can get a couple more mph

Hi, what do you think about the stock version? I'm hearing it is a lemon, of course yours is different, highly modified, but any thoughts?

    • @2dthoughts
      @2dthoughts  Рік тому

I’m not real sure. It depends what you plan for it and pay for it. Great looking bike and really nice frame, but definitely an under performer for the retail price. I only paid $800 and started modifying almost immediately. It wasn’t as fast as my skateboard when I got it , so it was a little underwhelming, but if it’s someone’s first EV it might be great.
There are a lot of bikes out now that give a lot more performance for less than the $2,500-$3,000 they were asking for these. No idea what they are asking now.
If you like BMX style, I would recommend the Crew Dart. I love mine and have only upgraded the brakes and replaced tires.
That being said if someone gets the Outsider cheap and looking for a frame to build up or have nothing to compare to, its a decent choice except lack of suspension.
But yeah, lots out there that have more to offer.
Mr central driver has reviewed a lot of bikes over the last year I would have preferred to have.

@@2dthoughts indeed, I agree with you, it is for that reason I refrained from getting this one, problem is, where I'm from (morocco) this brand is one of the very few one selling moped style ebikes, they have announced a new 48V 20ah version called OUTSIDER 5.0 -2024, I'm thinking I might just have to bite the bullet and get one, they need to chill on the price tho, I like that fact that it have longer frame, I'm 6'5 tall.

I think the volume is very low on this video but anyway this thing is so rad man it really looks nothing like a bicycle and just like a cafe racer..great job
