This isn't about a hominid cryptid, this is a whole different creature. This took place in Central Arizona, in 1967. I was spending a year on a ranch in Skull Valley, about 25 miles outside of Prescott. It's brush land, no big trees or heavy brush for cover. It was a Saturday night and six of us were coming back from whooping it up in Prescott. We were in three cars, two in each. My friend and I were in the last car and we were about five minutes behind the rest, as we stopped to fuel up. We got to the ranch and all the lights were on and people were all over the place, carrying guns and even a civil war sword. We asked what happened and they were surprised that we had not seen what had obviously spooked them. The road was twisty and there were lots of cuts into hillsides. On one of these cuts, about 20 feet high they saw something. The first and second car were only a few yards apart as they swung into a corner and their lights illuminated the cut. At the top of the ridge, there was a medium brown "thing", which looked like it was covered in short, dense fur. It was bent over as they could see wrinkles in one side of it. Then it "stood up". It was about 12 feet high and had no head, legs, or arms. It looked like a "windsock".... a truncated cone with no features. We all piled into the three cars armed to the teeth and went back to the place. No creature, no tracks, no evidence at all. Gone.
We later discovered that this was not all that unusual, as something very similar had been seen by several other people we knew as it paced cars driving at 70 miles an hour. This was on the road leading from Flagstaff to Grand Canyon. It was moving along at the same speed as the cars, but had no legs..... it just "glided" along the ground. Through the trees.
This is the same place where I had my only profound and convincing UFO sighting, too. Not sayin' that these are related, but, who knows?

Alabama has a lot of Bigfoot , I used to hunt Coosa county , around Rockford. When you don't hear birds or any other animals, something is wrong. But you could hear something crashing through the woods a little later. Then you would hear normal sounds again. And the stench would disappear also. But you would be field dressing a deer. And things would get silent. And you get the feeling you were being watched. Even a cougar would not make things silent. I have seen a couple of cougars , and the birds still sang right along. I had footprint pictures, but the ex wife made them magically disappear. I wear size thirteen boot. I put my foot inside one of the tracks. And did not touch any side of that track. That was in northwest Alabama. Thank you to all of the believers , held all of that inside for 27 years. Unfortunately my brother held inside until he passed. True meaning of secrets between family.

Those whom "Judge others", for any reason, "gets me square in my stomach", but I made a decision that I would avoid "Judging them" and I do so by understanding that they have yet to make a practice habit of using Conscious Thought + applying the Higher-Mind, which means they are living through an Unconscious Reacting State and the Lower Mind, aka Adolescent-Mind.
Most all of us literally Mature of Mind through a Conscious Choice to do so, thus all the chaos that's easily provoked by News Media
▪When one accuses another of being "weak of mind" due to a privately shared experience, it says more about them than who they are accusing.
▪When one overly and repeatedly "teases someone about a shared encounter", I define the act as "Bullying" because it emotionally abuses and that is the "#1 trait of a Narcissist Personality Disorder". When an entire family does it ... well, an example of "Learned Behavior from the Home Environment" (I know, my Sociologist is showing)
Point being: Empathy ranks up there with Unconditional Love.
...and Mature-Minded Adults are in the Minority, but its a growing group of good folks.
My sympathies for your S8bbling loss, I just experienced this past month, unexpectedly. It is a life point to work through and it is tragic.
I appreciate my beliefs at this time, (Religions do little to comfort, spiritual beliefs and Quantum Physics have proven to be key for me, but we are still human in a 3D reality and have emotions and feelings.)
"The Soul is Energy, Energy is Eternal, it can neither be created nor destroyed."
      - Quantum Physics
The most mind opening subject I've changed to discover is: the "Universal Law of Attraction", it is Absolute and it empowers us to a much greater understanding and experiencing of our Desired Reality.
      - another Quantum Physics Subject

I've heard and read that bigfoot know what guns are and hate them, I read where one knowledgeable mountain man type said never carry a gun because it makes them mad, but I dont ever see myself NOT carrying one in the woods for protection, and if a bigfoot finds himself mad at me for carrying one I'd rather take the chance my being armed may offend a bigfoot, that my being unarmed might make them appreciate me enough not to attack me!
I'm just not taking that risk and if one attacks me even if it gets me by God it's going to know going after us isnt a painless proposition at the least.
I would never shoot one just to be shooting it, I dont hve it in my heart or mind to kill one just to prove they exist to others but if you come for me you get what you get.

Whatever lives that mountain is still there and still attacking visitors who go to check it out. There are said to be 4 different types of Bigfoot. Some of them are nasty without provocation.

I seen one in the same area in 1988. In Faunsdale, Ala my grandmother use to call it Charlie and it was always watching the trailer at night. We use tell her a big man was standing in the dark in the woods but it never would come in the light. We could see it shape like a big man in a trench coat. Well I was about 10 years old then. We did't know what it was until years later when we got older. It made little noise but it growled at us one night when we got to close to it one night. I stay in Tampa, Fl now but my family still live in that area. They are real. They smell like a hog pen and wet dog mix.

I've been following your channel for a while now. I'm in my 60s and have lived and hunted in the PNW all my life and have privately been investigating Sasquatch since the early 70s. I first learned of them after paying .50 cents to watch to Patterson film at our High Schools auditorium in 1969 with my older brother and a few friends.
I enjoy most of the stories that you proffer up on here and find that the majority of them have the ring of truth in them. That yell or scream that they mention in this story makes me laugh a little because if you are close to one when they let out with that YELL, it will rattle your chest just like he describes! That pounding on a tree is like nothing else you will ever hear to! I've been lucky enough to have heard both from a close distance and I can tell you that it is quite unsettling when it happens the first time. A large male will usually not be aggressive towards humans unless there are young or injured around in my own experience, but that can't be proven as fact, just my own opinion based on what I experienced. Shooting at one..... These poor guys probably didn't feel like they had any choice and I don't blame them for taking that action under the circumstances, but I would try to avoid shooting at one if at all possible! 99 times out of 100, you can bet that they are false charging and will either stop or veer off at the last minute.... or cloak and go invisible, I know, That sounds crazy as all hell, but I guarantee you that if you get out there and spend the time in the right areas, you might just see it for yourself, because it happens! I can't explain what these things do or why or how or anything like so many of the so-called "experts" out here seem to be able to, but after nearly 50 years of being around them and having them keep track of me in my hikes and exploring back country and my camps, I haven't learned much about them compared to what they have about me! They have tested my tents, smelled and tasted my boot tracks, taken things from my camp tables, avoided my trail cams, left their foot prints on dirt when there were no tracks on the way up 30 minutes earlier, mind speak warnings to stop approaching into an area and much more.... I found a granite boulder that had to weigh 10 tons that was the shape of a half loaf of bread that was along side of a very curious trail that was about 4 feet wide and went along the top of a mountain ridge for 3/4 mile. Not a hoof or bear track to be found on it, just matted grass and pine needles. This boulder had been picked up on one end and set down so something could dig out the rodents that lived under it! A grizzly would not have been able to lift that boulder! A Sasquatch could have easily done so though!
Don't mean to ramble on, just thought that I would share some thoughts on here. You have a great channel and I'll be around.

when I was 16, 17, I was with a group of people dirtbiking in the Queens country behind head-smashed buffalo jump. Very dense forest. When I was leading the pack I got way ahead of the group. Keeping a good speed of around 30-40 Km/h I had a creature, with golden red hair, explode across the path infront of me. It was on all four and its front legs/arms were above its head running like a frog extends during a hop. I stopped the bike so hard it stalled out. looking where it had gone was the vegetation had be pushed open, and nothing could be seen or heard as the group had cought up. I said to them (when they asked what the heck i was doing) that a massive grizzley sprung out in front. they shrugged and ask if i wanted to stay on point. I said heck no and fell back into the middle of the group. 200m away we come across a huge black bear up a tree making some strange grunt growls and starring aroud the forest, barely glancing at our group of dirt bikes, we moved on, and I never said anything more to those other people about what I saw earlier. I dont know why I said it was a griz, I knew it wasnt a Griz, but at the time sasquach was not a topic I had researched into. Makes me wonder, did I just disturb a hunt?
