I feel like the deck struggles a lot even when going first, cause if your beaver/rescue cat/ obedience get canceled you have nothing else to play on the turn, if you didn't get lucky to draw puppy/wally. Also what do you propose to do when going 2nd? I'm really trying to make this work, thanks ^^
Well, in my experience, always go obedience first as you can use a second one if the first one is negated or use can extend using cat or beaver should you have them. You are correct that getting your first card negated hurts but, not drawing any melffys is pretty rare. Even passing on a catty isn’t horrible in some cases, i use the hand traps to slow and even stop my opponents and stall myself into a turn 2 if need be. Going second if I see a seemingly insurmountable board, i usually go for Centauria, attack, Downerd, Zeus to wipe with 4 materials.
I built this to be a budget deck, you can get some cheap spright red, carrots, pixies if you’d like an easy extension. The spright package is a good one but Blues are still 10+ a piece. Runick cards can also be used for an easy 2 but the field spell and tip are pricey as well. If you would all like a more pricey version I can see what I can put together?
@@CommonFolkYugioh Nah, thanks, I'm trying to make a budget deck too ^^ I have seen some good application of Small world to search for rescue cat/wally, at the cost of carrying a brick in deck. I feel like that makes the deck even more consistant. Also 1 copy of Mole Rat and valeriefawn to create naturia beast is great if you happen to draw both rescue cat AND puppy/wally.
I can do that if you’d like, there has been cards released that make the deck even better that I unfortunately do not own (Stardust Accel, Baron De Fluer, and Satellite Warrior) you can easily make off one Melffy Wally but i can still show you the combo lines
@@drewamaro4086 update: bought new camera assembly that should arrive today, i’ll film it tonight for you. I filmed it last night and the quality was not what I want it to be.
It runs 2 generic level 2 summons (nimble beaver/ deep sea diva) for easy access to Melffy of the Forest. The rest is mostly interchangeable hand traps because the deck only needs access to 1 melffy for full combo.
1 melffy rabby and melffy mommy for the meme cred

Personally i like to combine mellffys with both spright and tri brigade
You could but this is meant for budget players that want to play competitive and a spright package atm is 60+ minimum and Tribrigade is another 40+
@CommonFolkYugioh on master duel it's 0+ because you can just use gems or craft your cards, but ya, i get what you mean
@@jacobortiz7087 yeah but I said TCG on the video…

how is this pure when most of the deck is non melffy
