- I've been looking forward to the staircase and goodbye scenes a long time ago. I even thought they might have some 'I love you' moments (Well, I know this is highly unlikely for Gotham lol)
BUT leave a note without saying goodbye? Seriously? I really don't expect this will happen.
I know a lot of people might explain that: if he saw her and said goodbye, then he would never be able to leave. Yes, it has a point, but this just makes Bruce more coward. And the thing is, it shows that Bruce never cares about Selina's feelings. If he does, he would know how much Selina hate to be abandoned.
Her mom abandoned her before she could ride a bike (and she only came after her because of Bruce); Bridgit ended up in barbecued; Ivy became to Poison Ivy, and Tabitha was killed. ALL the people she CARED ABOUT left her, including Bruce. And this time, he left WITHOUT a goodbye. That's cruel and cold.
Selina deserves better.

Bruce broke her by the end of this show. She finally stayed letting him in, showing emotion, seeing herself as his, and then he leaves. Crushed her to the point of losing herself. She started becoming his partner for real. Putting everything else aside to walk by his side. She was ready to move forward, she made that clear when she did something totally out of character, she held him while they were on the steps. It broke her and i imagine she never let anyone else in again. Not after the hard lesson Bruce taught her.

That's because the show is technically about Jim Gordon and how he became commissioner. He's the main character, not Bruce.
All Selina ever wanted to do was protect herself and Bruce couldn’t help but make a martyr of himself. Consoled his guilt by prioritizing everyone else above himself and his own relationships. Selina jumped when Bruce needed her regardless of the circumstances. They loved each other. Wish we got more especially towards the end when Selina is being gentler towards Bruce.

Wow, I like it! This edit is really delicate, scene switching is very comfortable, I do feel the emotional tension between batcat. Yesterday's farewell really broke my heart too, I hope, the next episode will tell us something about this letter? For example :he loves her? Maybe so I can forgive Bruce.

For me it is a kind of good ending for them 🤔 (of course i had wiched they kiss each other and talk more to each other 😍😭)
