I’ll admit, I won’t take credit for this comment. Someone else commented this on another avengers endgame portal scene but the vid got deleted
@@hulk6805 indeed
That is a very nice one
You have to admit, seeing all those characters pour in after years of building them up is one of the best scenes in cinema history. Hands down.
For real. Scorsese can kick rocks.

"On your left." Pays off a setup from five years and 13 films back. Now MCU films don't seem to remember what happened in the previous scene.
i cried a little with a smile when it happened and I realized wat was happening.
i don’t know why they have started filming secret wars. there are no avengers to love at present😢😢
Yeah in the military it means you're about to pass them and to give you the right away
and five years later you still can't help but tear up.
today, everybody's an Avenger.
you flood the market you dilute the quality
Sam: “Open the portal to his left”
Strange: “Why specifically his left side?”
Sam: “Just do it. It’s important”
I fully believe this happened
On your left from Captain America has a different fanbase. That one scene in Captain america winter soldier, made them get a new superhero character.
For real. He wanted revenge so long even after the winter soldier.
No, it was because when Sam and Steve were jogging in a previous movie, Steve said-"on your left". It's a reference actually, there was one more 😎
@@RitikMaurya07 did you not get the joke?
The fact that Steve was gonna fight the whole army by himself is truly what makes him my favorite mcu hero
He fights like a solider, he dies like a solider. That's probably his motto
My favourite hero too
Why was he alone? I totally forgot why.
He knew he was probably going to die fighting that whole army by himself but was still willing to do it anyway. He’d rather die in a fight than run from it
@@val21704 Thor and Iron Man were there too, but they became exhausted because of the fact that Thanos was too strong and he also brought his army which made them outnumbered.
An underrated part of all this is the reaction that T'Challa gave Steve.. a million words of approval and recognition said with just a simple nod
The slightest of nods, just between the two of them.
Steve was ready to march on Thanos and his army all alone but the look of relief and happiness on his face when help came was so strong. He was ready to give his life but he was still scared out of his mind.
It was the teary eyes of Steve that got me. The nod saying the greatest “so glad to see you back again” ever seen. It was a great moment.
''No no, give me that! You'll have the little one'' always cracks me up
Agreed, like a parent to a child
Can we just appreciate Thanos for letting them have this whole entry moment
Jokes aside, he probably just wanted to scope who he was going up against lol
He was probably confused, like Wtf is this?
Bro was shook
“YOU SAID THERE WAS ONLY 6!”
he was experiencing cinema history infront of him

This scene was pinnacle MCU. I remember being in the theater chanting yibambe through tears with Black Panther and then cheering with Cap's "Assemble".
Ikr
Same!!
3:18 I love that Tony looks directly to Steve, like, "On your orders, Captain"
I think that was more so him being surprised Cap was wielding Mjolnir as he was KO'd when he first picked it up
The fact remains that Captain America stood alone against entire Thanos and his army
Thor and iron man were there too
Right
Yea and thor, cap and, iron man they know that they are gonna lose but the portal thing is amazing
He can do this all day
He can do this all year
“Why is Captain America your favorite Avenger?”
Because he didn’t want to kill anyone, he didn’t like bullies, he didn’t care where they were from.
And because when all hope seemed lost, he was still prepared to stand and fight for a universe that would never know of his sacrifice.
He didn't care about his life to be executed by Thanos rather, he'd want to fight back until his last breath and die trying rather than kneeling down in despair in the face of pure dominance
Cap is my favorite Marvel hero because he only cares nothing but the safety and the lives of others than his, he's prepared to die fighting an army rather than backing down and he'll do so because he is fearless and determined *whatever it takes*
@@venomark7883 we should all aspire to be Captain America.
Okay kids..time for your GMO milk. Go to bed after that 😄🤣😂!
He’s the last man standing. When all hope was lost he was still standing
Thanos was a beast and that look he gave as captain America got up priceless
The wide shot of Captain against the whole Thanos army is the best scene in all the MCU.
The fact that Cap stood up against an entire army and didn’t blink is the reason he’s my favorite avenger.
And why he was worthy.
The close-up shot on Chadwick Boseman as he exits the portal brings a tear to my eye. R.I.P King.
Boseman forever
Why did the black panthers right hand soldier -don’t know her name but she is from the walking dead - why she walk in if she never got dusted ?
@Javsco I'm interested to understand his question as well.... I'm confused.
The black panther and his final fight, R.i.p Boseman, Wakanda forever. 👑
@@robertmedrano2768 The people walking through aren't just the people who didn't survive the snap it's everyone who's anyone ready to fight against Thanos. Okoye is the head of T'Challa's military, The Dora Milaje, so of course she's going to be by his side. She wasn't with Cap because without their King she was best needed in Wakanda protecting her people.
I just adore how this moment is what the last 10 years had all been building up to, it’s fantastic
For me it’s honestly just the word “assemble”
If you told me back in 2012 something like this is coming... I would've called you a crazy man. Never thought I'd see the MCU evolve this much back then.
Aku suka ant man dia boleh kecil Dan besar
@the ugly duckling to each is their own bud
@the ugly duckling Endgame had the superior climax, but I do agree that Infinity War is the better overall movie.
One of the best moments in all movie history.
Dude, I got teary-eyed as soon as I saw Spidey! I missed that kid! 🥹
When Captain America said Avengers Assemble every person in the theater I was ready to jump through the screen and be avengers that day. Crazy that a moment in a movie can have such an impact on a large group of strangers. Good times.
It's embarrassing to even admit this, but I agree. I think all fans wanted to be running alongside Cap and Co. at that moment
Sometimes if I'm walking down a empty street, I'll act like I'm an Avenger and just start RUNNING
I wonder if this was a bigger moment outside of the USA. I think the US is the only place they didn’t call the original Avengers film ‘Avengers Assemble.’
Let's face it Avengers is the best movie hands down and I hope they continue to make more movies of it I also hope that Robert Downey Jr comes back as iron Man because I seriously can't picture anyone else playing that character
I'm so glad this happened in the theatre i was in
This is still the most powerful experience I've ever had in a movie theatre
same bro😢🥹
100%
yup
For me it was the Gluck Gluck 3000. So powerful and such an experience
It was a truly special, once in a lifetime moment. I don't think I'll ever be quite this enthralled by anything in a movie theatre again. Although the Spider-Man: No Way Home scene when Andrew and Tobey showed up comes pretty close. The audience was legit roaring with applause and cheer. For this one, in my theatre on my first watch at least, they just sat there in stunned silence when the iconic words were finally spoken. Like everyone was holding their breath in anticipation for what would come next.
I had a first day show to this movie and for the first time ever in my entire life, the entire theatre was that hyped up, everybody screamed to the end, this is one moment in history that I could never forget, 10 years culminating to this moment.
Five years later, and this scene still succeeds in giving me goosebumps.
Captain america strapping on his broken shield to fight a literal army by himself has to be the most manliest thing I have ever scene
Not to mention that if you look closely, his arm looks like it is actually broken, and he using the straps to hold everything in place. Which makes it like 10x more manly lol.
"I can do this all day"
He make up his mind he was taking a few with him
Damn that's crazy i never noticed until now! @@BlazeLs-je7yo
Iron man sacrificing himself was more manly than that.
That moment when Cap screams, "AVENGERS...!!!!!!!!" and the quietly, "Assemble.", gives me chills everytime!
3:13
when Thor yells after he says it makes it even better
@@champ33404 Then everyone else joining in charging and yelling. It's crazy! And then when thanos pints his sword and all of his minions start charging too! Wish I watched it

Thanos's inflated ego is his downfall. His pride wants a satisfying defeat. He doesn't want to win on a technicality or by fighting dirty. He wants everyone to know he wins because he's bigger, stronger, and smarter than everyone else.
His ego wouldn't allow it. He was so sure of his victory, of his destiny, that it killed him and all of his followers

Best scene of any superhero movie ever, there is no contesting that.
I love that head nod T'Challa does to Captain America, saying basically "I've got your back" RIP Chadwick.
That nod was also like a thank you to him, for bringing him back to life (or at least helping to do so, since Hulk is the one who did it) He must have known because Okoye survived the snap so she must have filled him in on everything that happened as soon as he came back
Because Chadwick was a true Chad

Avengers: A Symbol
3:07 Gotta love the look Cap gives to Thanos as he's just bewildered by what is happening right before his eyes
This scene never fails to move me emotionally no matter how many times I see it. It's not really the grand spectacle of all the Avengers there, it's the way Chris Evans delivers the line. If he had yelled "assemble" in some kind of loud, grand victory shout, I think it would have lessened the entire moment. The matter-of-fact, we've-got-this-because-we're-together tone of "assemble" just makes the entire film for me.
And all of them -heroes, aliens, kings, masters of the mystic arts, even gods-waited for Captain America’s order. In the comics, Thor said that Cap was the only human he’d ever take orders from, and that he’d follow him into hell. This scene showed why

I love how Cap is like "Fudge it, let's do this." He had zero expectation that any help was coming and fully intended to go down on his feet.
It's what makes so many people love and respect him. He's a kind hearted man willing to die doing what he thinks is right. Before the MCU I didnt think much of him aside from a cool partrioically designed Marvel hero(I grew up with DC) but after the entire ride from Iron Man to Endgame, I realized Cap is a hero through and through, more than most. He's a man that came from almost nothing and not through the desire to be better or hurt people, it can be all traced back to " I don't like bullies.". He just wants to help people. That's the true definition of a hero.
That’s why he’s the soul of the Avengers. Tony Stark is the heart of the Avengers, but Cap is the soul because not only of his patriotism, but because of his principle as a person and as a hero at the same time. And also, that’s why he’s worthy! 🥹

@@maritoxico9982 im from the future but haven’t seen doctor strange multiverse of madness but I can definitely confirm that nothing like endgame happened in doctor strange 2
Hands down.. The best scene for any fight scene. I remember with my mates in the cinema, not only we screamed loud but the whole audience in the cinema screamed for joy ❤
As the MCU is flailing about trying to decide what it wants to do, it's nice to come back to this epic scene once in a while as a reminder of what excellent worldbuilding can bring you.
“On your left” is probably the greatest scene in movie history. My whole theater went from being quiet to loud cheering once you heard that line drop. Never have I ever been in a crowd that expressed itself or felt the same feelings as me while we were all watching a movie… I truly pity those that didn’t experience avengers 3 & 4 in theaters during opening weekend… it was one of those moments where you just HAD to be there and I’ll NEVER forget it. Bravo Russos…. bravo!
I managed to avoid spoilers for an entire week. And got to see it the weekend after. Theater was still loud af.
I worked at a movie theater during opening weekend. And it was HELL
@@metraking192 lol i hope you had a great time.
@@Never_GamePlayZ still the best movie I’ve ever seen and wouldn’t trade anything in the world for that experience again. I only wish I got to see it opening night
@@metraking192 I went to see this three times at the theater and 3 weeks later people were still going bananas about it. Infinity War, 4 weeks later people were still losing their heads when Thor showed up in Wakanda.
gotta disagree on greatest scene. there are a lot of better movie scenes. if you meant the most hype scene, i could see that as acceptable but imo star wars had a lot more hype. im your father is truly the most hype scene ive seen in any form of cinema
I grew up with Marvel. Every time I see this scene, I'm brought to tears. The Infinity Saga truly was legendary.
But why to tears be happy if you like marvel
And so far the Multiverse Saga has been absolutely crap, especially with Multiverse of Madness, She-Hulk, and Ms Marvel
Bro same. I always start to cry from “cap, on your left” part until “avengers, assemble!” I grew up watching them since Iron-Man 1 until Endgame so this scene is very sentimental to me.
@@zacgrasl4229 mcu phases 1-3 is the mcu peak ngl 🤷🏾♀️
I agree. The birth of the MCU was the same year of my birth
This scene and the last fight scene in Thor Ragnorok will always be my top favorites ❤
One of the most Iconic scenes of Movie industry across the world..❤
The fact that this man walked against entire thanos army. This movie is my favourite. The cast did an amazing job acting. Very very good movie.
So long as one man stood against Thanos, he could never achieve victory.
noooo it sucks so clische sorry
This was definitely the best marvel scene in history, only if Stan lee could’ve witness it 😔
I'm sure he got to see the movie after production was finished.
What about Andrew and tobey's return?

RIP Stan Lee
Stan Lee would probably cameo as a civilian walking by in this scene
That line"Avengers Assemble" never lets me forget that first time feeling of watching this movie ❤
The main event of WrestleMania 40 last night during Cody Rhodes vs Roman Reigns 2.
The fact the Stark made Pepper's suit the same color as the dress she bought herself, as a gift from him in the 1st Ironman, shows how much he cared for her....
I never realized that before. Neat detail
1:45 I love that look Tchalla gives Steve. Respect and understanding. "You've fought the good fight, it's time for us to finish this"
Right ! And that look Steve gave him when he 1st saw him. He teared up , man... goosebumps
And iron man did finish the fight
Steve and Tchalla have a lot of respect, if you go back and rewatch civil war.
😭🙌🏽
“Have my entire fucking army plus more”
that scene still rocks after all these years. straight up masterpiece
