Greetings. I would suggest to start eliminating certain unconscious micromovements, for example not lifting the elbows and shoulders, relaxing the shoulderblades, relaxing facial expressions, let your weight sink during movement. Taijiquan principles would help immensely. Happy New Year!
One thing I will never understand is Bujinkan practitioners criticizing other ninja schools for being non authentic and fake or saying it's " cosplay " and yet they will drill and drill on some of the most simple & basic techniques like this that are nothing more then Jujutsu techniques and call it " Ninjutsu "?
The martial art is jujutsu/taijutsu and weapons styles. Focus on regular warfare is bujutsu but focus on guerrilla warfare and dirty tactis is ninjutsu. In modern warfare. Marines are samurai and Seals are ninjas
@@mcahco the point I was making is they are practicing Taijutsu/Jujutsu techniques but they will say it's Ninjutsu. I am well aware of the difference between Bujutsu and Ninjutsu. There may be similarities between ninja and special forces units within the military but they are not the same. I was in the infantry ( Army ) so I know from experience there is a difference between a soldier and a lone ninja operative. Although they may use some of the same tactics and employ stealthy movements such as crawling and hiding behind objects. A ninja has more freedom and less restricted then a commando team raiding and infiltrating an enemies territory. Even a special forces unit has to go by certain procedures and follow rules. A ninja does not. A ninja is closer to being a hit man or a terrorist then a soldier.
