Yggdrasil Smog...I have studied Ninjutsu for over twenty years. My instructor, his dad and grandpa trained with Stephen Hayes. Mma is a sport. Ninjutsu is combat martial art that has nine schools, including grappling. There are no rules in a combat fight. I.E. You can't gouge someone's eye's out in mma. Also in a street fight you can carry a knife or shuriken. Shuriken was used in grappling. Held in the hand correctly, one cannot see it. Then you can thrust it into arteries.

Dont discount jiu jitsu they can dirty fight too by going for the groin, eyes etc they just couple it with an extremely effective martial art. I a duel Ill bet on the jiu jitsu guy every time over a bujinkan practitioner.

You do realize this is all complete nonsense? Anybody who has even basic training in a real combat martial art such as boxing,muay thai or bjj,would destroy this old man and any of his students easily.. Why? Because they actually do this thing called sparring. They don't just have choreographed,make believe encounters with willing opponents.. I thought we had gotten past all of this,since mma has actually shown what is really effective in a real hand to hand situation. I guess some people still buy into the martial arts myths... The really sad part is that this guy has basically been conning people out of their hard earned money for decades.. I'd love to see this guy or any of his students have a real fight with a highly trained combat athlete.. One of two things always happens. They either refuse to fight,or they get beaten up.. Seriously...I don't understand why people still buy into this crap.Especially when youtube is filled with videos of these pretend martial artists getting battered by real,modern day, martial artists..

I thought the same thing till I started doing it. Your body literally crumbles in place. It's legit. Hatsumi is doing things that defy logic.
Might I add that through ninjutsu with the basics of timing, distance and angle, I've gotten better at video games because the theory behind it is so solid.
