@@AlieForza you are most welcome Dear Sister 😊 Yes! Indeed beautiful Mosques specially the one in downtown and the museum in front of it ✌ Be safe and Take care 🎉
MashaAllah and congratulations for this journey. There are lighter and comfortable materials available, pure cotton is very much compatible to the skin. European countries have lower temperatures so it is still easier there than the hotter countries Hijab is not only for the hair but also for the chest area as well, clothes should be loose enough so that body shape won't be obvious, Many reverts miss the body shape part
Yes I think linen would be best, especially in the summer months! And you’re right about the covering the body. When I covered my hair during Ramadan, I noticed how tight my clothes suddenly felt. And it’s not like I was wearing anything revealing! It’s only that clothes are fitted close to the body; this is the style. I was not expecting this realization! Alhamdulillah that the style is slowly changing-at least in Italy, fashion is starting to be a little more loose and baggier, which I appreciate. Insha’Allah you will pray that I am able to start wearing hijab every day soon?
What happened at the end sister!? Are you okay? 😆. I will be praying that you start wearing the hijab full time, insha’Allah soon ya Rabb. Many blessings to you
Wa alaykumu as salam sister! Jazakillah khair for your kindness in asking Renne💗 It’s going slowly. I’ve only seen about 10 other hijabs where I live, and most of them were tourists. Not a lot of Muslims or support where I live, unfortunately and alhamdulillah.
Been wearing hijab for years but I liked the end result so I actually considered it a tutorial😅, I am not that creative with veils and yours is better cause you made it long from the front, that's what I stuck to see how it was done cause I need to do better.
@@AlieForza I will, May Allah bring us closer in faith and deeds❤️🌹 I started tataking steps myself that were long overdue like wearing better cloths, less makeup, the society really plays a part in shaping us and I decided to break free, your journey is of course of higher magnitude. No need to apologize sister☺️I love connecting with you! Alhamdulillah that I’ve always worn modest clothing and never worn a lot of makeup. That said, one thing I found fascinating, and was not expecting when I wore hijab, was that even though I wasn’t showing any skin, my clothes felt too tight!! In the “West” it’s hard to find loose clothing that doesn’t look frumpy but looks chic. Subhan’Allah such a moving ayah. So many people worry too much about what others think about them, even when it is to their detriment. I think most of us are guilty of this🙋🏼♀️ I’m not sure if you saw my “journey to Islam” videos, because in part 2 of that miniseries I talk about people-pleasing and how after being diagnosed with cancer, I realized how that behavior wasn’t normal or helpful. Its a shame you werent allowed to go in and pray in the prophets time women were allowed but now theres a lot of oppression in our community against women these days. The pakistani and banghali masjid in my area are the same.
This is pretty common, unfortunately. I heard that even in the UK many of the masjids do not have room for women. I understand why of course, but it is important for us to be around and learn from other sisters. I already miss Tirana where I could pray with other sisters on Friday or while running errands being able walk into any masjid so that I wouldn’t be late for my prayers.
