I really felt Channing Tatum`s performance in this film. Especially when his relationship with John Du Pont(Steve Carrell) turned sour when he started to favour his brother. It reminded me of a child who felt neglected and overlooked by his father.
Steve Carell was truly deserving to win the Academy Award for Best Actor for this role,he was CHILLING and CREEPY to the EXTREME as John Dupont, great movie 🎬.
Still trying to understand how outstanding directors such as Bennett Miller and Spike Jonze haven’t been able to make a film in almost 10 years (2013’s Her for Jonze and 2014’s Foxcatcher for Miller) yet incredibly mediocre directors are out there consistently working the past 5-10 + years, looking at you Noam Baumbach, JJ Abrams and Spike Lee. There are others to be sure, those just immediately popped into my head.
It is certainly a failed film. But it is an ambitious film, with many concrete successes ... that aspires to reach high. The film is perhaps reminiscent of the most contemplative Kubrick. And let me say ... It would be like Barry Lyndon, but without having such beautiful shots, even though it tries to create a good atmosphere in those fields of Pennysilvania ... I think it is a film that failed, it is tremendously interesting .. .
great film with superb acting

The real Mark and Dave Schultz went to my high school. I saw them there once after they won their golds and didn't even know it was them.
No they didn't.
Why had their appearances changed?
Plot twist: He was actually calling out Mark Rufallo
I thought this was PS4.
