    For people with problems connecting a SSD disk to Dell Latitude E6320:
    I bought a Corsair Force LE SATA3.0Gbps, 240GB SSD, i put it on the disk in the bay of the DELL E6320 and BIOS did not recognize the disk.
    I realize that the bay of the disc is too wide allowing the disc to enter without being connected to the SATA socket.
    For me the signal was that the two internal screws of the disk that stopped tightening.
    Soo i put the disk in the bay as close to the bolt holes as possible and it works.
    The BIOS recognized the SSD disk.

    How much it weighs? Someone said it weights around 3 lbs, but the way you were holding it, it seemed heavier than 3 lbs.

    How's the laptop doing now? How is battery life and has the laptop become slow

    • @MikeDancy
      @MikeDancy  8 років тому

      I sold it quite awhile ago... I was never a big fan of the Dell E6 line to be honest. I had a Dell e6410 and it was really slow.

      I have this model right now, the laptop is surprisingly sturdy, doesn't show any signs of aging, no cracks or anything. One of 2 batteries says it's not able to charge as much as a new one, but I can still use the machine for good 2-3h on battery. The cpu and ram are still good enough in 2019, the ssd is good too (if a bit small), however the gpu is a problem. It was slow when the machine was new, and today it's a joke. The laptop can get only playstation 2 era games running smoothly. I want to get something games worthy, but it looks like I'm going to use this laptop for another 5 years.

      +EurocorpFx for studying? As in for homework? Sure, it’s not a bad machine. I’m biased towards Lenovo personally. But this is a fine machine for just doing homework on. It’s just not a true gaming PC.

    Hi. Thank You for review. Today I bought a used laptop like on Your video. Could You tell me whay is flashing one indicator on the left? And one more question. When I turn on the laptop I hear some sounds from hard disk. The sound is like short crackles. Is this normal? Thank You.

      then i guess you should replace your HDD soon.
      or use a SSD.
      i still have mine with same specs, SSD128GB and 8GB RAM, and its still rocks even for 2017 usage.

    I have this laptop. Its pretty decent for basic bare bones stuff.
    But there is a problem with it that I was hoping for help with. Any games that require OPEN GL compatibility cannot be run on this laptop. At least not that I know of. I have had a hell of a time getting any graphics stuff to work on it.
    Is there a solution to this? Does anyone have advise on this issue? And I tried to tweak the drivers, but still didn't work.
    Hope someone has some fix for this?

    Would it be good for editing youtube videos ?

    • @MikeDancy
      @MikeDancy  6 років тому

      well I guess it would depend on the application that you want to use. Probably not too good with Premiere Pro but should work fine with Wondershare. Though I would recommend an external monitor and a mouse. Actually, you would probably be better off with a i7-3rd gen desktop where you can plug in a better video card. That would be about the same money.

      if you want to edit videos, I'd grab a dell e5400 maybe and put a SSD in it. or a HP elitebook workstation. but if you need a portable device, grab a macbook air 11" and run imovie. or even a lenovo x1 carbon and run divinci

    • @MikeDancy
      @MikeDancy  8 років тому +1

      I didn't like the build quality or the keyboard. I found the plastics that were used caused it to twist too easily and it squeaked when shifted or lifted.
