I became a baseball fan because of these three and to this day, baseball remains my favorite sport. I always wanted to play like these 3 and I have so many core memories because of them. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and my whole generation of Phillies fans
The three greatest players, on the greatest Philadelphia sports team of my lifetime. Thank you so much for the memories guys. My kids kids will hear stories of what you guys accomplished.
I was so invested in this episode, I'm not at all a Phillies fan but definitely knew these guys back in the day, especially in the WS years, that when I accidentally spilled my soda on my laptop, I got so sad that I wasn't going to be able to watch the last 10 minutes if my computer wasn't salvageable... luckily for me, it was!
I've grown up a fan, and have seen 6 of the 8 phillies WS. The 2007-11 team was my favorite, and not just the best Phillies team, but one of the best rosters in baseball.🤓🤙
I have a single card with everyone’s signature on the podcast on it that I got in person when I was growing up. I was introduced to baseball watching these guys and made me fall in love with the sport of baseball for all that it is. This is something that I’ve been waiting for that I never knew I needed. I never realized that we all know these guys from playing ball, but we do not know them outside of being a player and love the BTS of how they did their thing. Love them all and always will. Crazy these guys are all out of baseball now cause as a kid, they looked immortal. I NEED more of this trio because 10 years of stories go a loooooot farther than one episode.
Being a 30 year old from Philly these 3 were my hero’s. I have always been a diehard sports fan but until 2008 it was nothing but heartbreaking loss after heartbreaking loss for us Philadelphia sports fans. And then it happened. I was a freshman in high school and let me just say me and my boys got hammered drunk, smoked a little weed, and had the time of our lives. Never forget that day man!
Rollins had the longevity 17 years, Utley had the prime, 05-10 and Howard had the peak 2006 year. If any one of them had two out of the three, there would be a plaque in Cooperstown. Still great ball players in their own right. Phillies fans will always love them
Chase Utely you are the man!!!! Loved seeing Chase back with the boys again just reminiscing. As a Phils fan this was awesome! Just a fun conversation. Great job J-Roll and Big Piece!
Jimmy, Ryan & Chase will always be my favorite era of Phillies baseball in my lifetime. I wasn’t born yet in 1980 & 1993 was the most exciting season but I was still really too young to appreciate it. The best era has to be 2007 - 2011! Unfortunately, RAJ ruined the team for 11 years - way worse than the late 90’s/early 00’s. Love these past couple of years & love Schwarber, Harp, Casty, Trea… but Rob is no substitute for Charlie & that 07/08 teams were more scrappy, in my opinion. Also, JRoll needs to be in the HOF!!
Until the Phillies made the run in 2022, I didn't think I would ever love a phillies team like I did with these 3 studs. That era was so electric. It's a travesty that they didn't win another world series.
One day when i'm telling my grandkids who "my guys" were, it's these 3 right here! Power, speed, clutch defense, personality and clear cut winning mentality.
Ha. There will be no shift (no matter how small) from football to baseball.. already Chase shows a lack of understanding. No Euro player will be like Ohtani and nor will transfer over to Europeans watching baseball
Chase NEVER said baseball would even come close to soccer in Europe. Even Jimmy said it’ll take awhile for baseball to even be on their radar. They said soccer is ingrained in the the UK, similar to baseball in the U.S.
This should have been a great discussion except the two 'hosts' forgot the guest was Chase and the black guys did not matter.. don't care they were all teammates - only Utley's thoughts were important
As a 24 year old phillies fan, these 3 truly were my childhood
23🙋🏼♀️ these are the men who raised me but I watch the podcast with my dad😂
And Jason werth
I was in 7th grade when we won in '08.

Ive loved this team my entire 23 year life. These three are a huge part of it!
These guys were my identity as a baseball fan growing up. “Chase Utley you are THE MAN!!!!” - Harry Kalas’ greatest call

So much respect for one another's game... Such class acts. We've been lucky in Philadelphia for the payers we have and had !! Go phils go birds !!!!

Legends! Chase Ut J-Roll and Ryan Howard..man
My freakin hero's man this is sick! Listening to the way they approached ab's makes me wonder about our current 1-4 hitters set up and approach

In my 30 year old phillies fan feels. Will always be favorite era of philly sports
FREAKIN LOVED THIS.
As a Braves fan I hated watching Ryan hit homeruns every other at bat 😂
I miss these guys

I’ll just pretend the low hiss in the audio is the sound from the crowd at CBP that they could hear in London
I got Chase Utley’s Autograph in New Jersey! At a horse race!
All three should have MVPs
This right here is the best infield I have ever known.
Good interview, They all stayed in shape too
One day when i'm telling my grandkids who "my guys" were, it's these 3 right here! Power, speed, clutch defense, personality and clear cut winning mentality.
Big 4 yes but Ruiz and Raul bro🔥I miss it💯
June 11th 2026, I need the Phillies to retire 6-11-26. You three are icons!
Legends
Chase Utley...maybe the highest baseball IQ of any player ever...
These guys deserved a second ring a shame they never got it
JROLL GOTTA KEEP THEM QUESTION SCENARIOS SIMPLE GOODNESS GRACIOUS
3 Headed Goat
JROLL be asking minute long questions
This is great but the production doesn't have to be as high as it is here. the close ups on chase seem really uncomfortable and distracting.
At around 10:15 you can hear chase swear under his breath 😨
3 goats
Its comment lez go
