The only person that should be making health care decisions is a doctor. The Supreme Court should not even be an issue. Neither should the government, for that matter.
The issue is, this is never cut and dry. Doctors can and will refuse to save the mother if they fear that they’ll face criminal charges for the attempt. This is exceptionally harmful to women in emergency situations who don’t have the luxury of time for doctors to decide if they’re willing to take the risk 🙂

There has always been an exception to save the life of the mother and there will be that exception going forward. You lack accountability in life I’m sure.
“Except to save a patients life.” There’s the exception right there so I see no issues here. Always attempt to save the baby and mom and if that’s not possible that’s when this exception would apply. Some people just want to be upset for no reason.
I think you and your doctor is a more sacred space than you and your priest. A doctor is for the living and a priest is for the dieing!!!!!. Let's keep the 2 separate as long as we can!!!😊😊😊

Imagine being a doctor being too afraid to save a woman’s life or potentially face jail time? I have many friends in healthcare who are vetting state laws before deciding to practice there. That won’t happen but keep being dramatic just for the sake of it. There’s an exception to save the mother’s life and there literally always has been. Why would the doctor be afraid when there is an explicit exception when it pertains to the life of the mother? Did you listen to the video or just come to comment misinformation? There had never been a law that prohibits the use of abortion to save the mother’s life. No legislation today says that a doctor has to let the mother die or they go to jail. You quite literally don’t know what you’re talking about.

A mother's immune system goes up, yes, it goes up, not down when she is pregnant. A baby, regardless of location, is always ANOTHER PERSON and NOT the mother's body.
If it’s not in the mother’s body… then whose body is it in? Is it using its own organs to sustain itself or someone else’s? If it can use its own organs to sustain itself, then surely it could survive with its own organs and nobody else’s right?
