In the second example I would try to rotate the desk 90 degrees so your back is against the solid wall, the big window to the side, and you still have decent command of the space while working.
I'm lucky to have a square office. Just don't have a solid plain wall behind me. Have a closet on two sides. My printer is in the middle along with the products I sell in a glass enclosed shelf unit hanging on the wall.
helpful video yet felt lacking ... would like more principles for better understanding so one can setup whatever work environment they have (i.e. command position where possible, designated areas, and so on) ... thanks!
I would love to get a smidgen of help on my home office! How do I hire you for a little consult? It’s a small office with odd directions - also based on my birth direction? XuA I think
In the video I talk about what to do when your back is to the door. The same would apply for the cubicle. In cubicles your back is usually to the opening. Use a mirror to see behind you.
Oddly having my desk nestled in a corner is how I'm most productive. Facing the open space of the room or toward the room openings seems to throw off my energy.. where do you find feng shui crystals?
Hello my office is in the basement with no windows. I'm a super. I have tools. I just started buying plant what else can I do. My back is facing the door.
Ok, so I need help! I am trying to find Shui my cubical at work! It's very small and it has no windows. My back is not to the entrance of the cubical, but parallel. There is also a glass wall on the other side. How can I work with this?
What about if I am facing the door and there is no other way??? Also, the room behind me is a cooler; do I need to put a specific piece on that cooler wall? TIA
You are facing the door when you sit at your desk? That is a good thing. I would check EMFs (electromagnetic fields) from the cooler wall, if your sitting in front of it for long time.
Morris Feng Shui my desk currently faces the wall and I have shelves above my head with books and other things. I also have another shelve full of paperwork; which I'm currently scanning to get rid of paperwork clutter. My desk covers most of the wall, when sitting down I cannot see who is coming in to my office, so I was thinking of adding a small desk as an extension to my current desk so that I can face the entrance door to my office but this would put me in the position I mentioned above. I have an accent wall with lime green and my other walks are light grey, I also have a black couch, my floor is light gray, I have to use two computers for work and there is a few routers in my office(is also use as a central room for all electronic connections) I also have a monitor where I can see all that happens outside of my office. Ideas??? I know, it's a lot... I love your videos and want to have more peace in my office since my job could get very stressful but I really love it.
Perhaps just having a small rearview mirror on your monitor directed so you can see the door would be best. The colours sound great for being motivated and generating ideas. I would add some fire and earth. A potted plant would be good. I would add a himalayan salt rock lamp that glows to generate calming energy to try to balance all those electronics.

What lay out is the best if you need to put a pantry and restroom to your small office space (40sqm.)
Morris Feng Shui what tips or advice do you have for those of us who are cubicle dwellers?

Holy shit you just changed my life!!

the reflection of lights on the window will kill eyes.
Hi. If my back if faced towards the window, can I then hang then Feng Shui crystal in front of my window instead?
what if there are more happening outside of the windows behind you.
Hello my office is in the basement with no windows. I'm a super. I have tools. I just started buying plant what else can I do.
My back is facing the door.
Make sure your back is never facing the back. It’s not a command position.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a suggestion for a mirror that doesn't fit on a laptop. Seems like it could be a distraction.
Neither eg. Work in my office not square small solid wall on inside window at back wall. This doesn’t address this in your blog or vid ?

😬😬 oh noo; idk about listening to a white woman about an ancient Chinese energy flow. ✌️
Are you saying a white woman can't learn enough information about an ancient Chinese energy flow to be able to share it with others in a video? 🤔
Most people's office is in the bedroom! this is useless
