One thing I really love about you is how you always buy from the kiddos when they’re selling baked goods/drinks or their personal items. That’s such a kind thing to do.😊
Yes, but I wish he would have given more to the kids! A quarter!? Couldn’t give a dollar each!?
I myself was raised that way.used to sell lemonade in the 1960s
@@susanmulvey6311 he already gave them more than they were asking...
Man gives a ton give him a break 😅
I always grab a lemonade or snack too. Saw some kids with a sign and a few toys out front during a neighborhood sale. Stopped by and mom was still getting ice and cups from inside. It was two boys both under 10 with another lady and myself waiting. She asked how much for the lemonade and the boys look at each other. One say $2, the other says $5. Then mom happens to come out and says $1. It was the first time I almost walked away from a lemonade stand. Hahah
“Bibles are free, but yah gotta pay for the condoms” is hilarious lol.
Why? It is the right thing to do. I gift Bibles to people myself. What would he do with the condoms besides fornication and sin? Stop listening to what the world has to say and start listening to what the word of God has to say. It was’t hilarious at all he just is just trying to fill a hole in his heart with stuff but would rather pay for condoms then receive a free Bible and then to try to make humor of it only displays that the “picker” has bitterness and resentment towards God. If you were going to hell would you think it was hilarious?
I took my three teenagers to an estate sale recently. Two of the kids are autistic and wear hoodies for comfort. The lady who was running it (she does estate sales for a living) was nice, but her husband glued himself to my kids so bad that it felt like he was a creeper. People had been stealing this lady blind I guess. While he was almost physically attached to my kids, someone made it into a craft room and emptied an entire bin of jewelry parts into their pants or something. At one point, I asked him to back off a little. Told him my kids don’t lie or steal. He refused to acknowledge that I even spoke to him. Then when we were leaving, after I paid money for our stuff, he put his hands on my oldest kid and made her empty her pockets. How were my kids going to steal anything when he was glued to them the whole time? But someone else made off with a bunch of stuff because he was fixated on my kids.
I sure hope he caught the irony of it too and learned a lesson. I hate it that he treated your kids so badly. 🧡🧡🧡
As soon as he put his hand on your kid, that’s considered assault. Not to mention illegal search…
@@oldhikinthesticks4524
Illegal search? 😂 Unless he's a police officer on duty, nope. But it is assault.
He would have woke up on the ground wondering why he is missing teeth@@oldhikinthesticks4524
And way creepy!
I remember pepsi points. Pepsi got sued because a guy raised enough points for the jet but pepsi wouldn’t honor the jet give away. Pepsi won the lawsuit because it wasn’t a legitimate offer.
I remember that. It was a Harrier fighter jet. LOL
The prices at some of the places you go, are higher than at the charity thrift store where I work. Like someone else here said, eBay is making them worse. I’ve had people at my store say “why can’t you charge garage sale prices?” I tell them our prices are better and we’re feeding and serving 600 families in the area with the proceeds.
You're right though, yard sales use to be fun, but prices are ridiculous. You know the dealers are digging through boxes before you have a chance to set up, offering very low prices not giving you the chance to make any profit
Yard sales are tough these days because people try to price like it's eBay. When you go to a yard sale and they pull out their phone and say let me check the prices just leave because it's going to be a problem. People are trying to make money like it's eBay and they're trying to skirt all the fees by doing it at a yard sale
They try to price like eBay because they know all these flippers and sharks out here arent buying ANY of these items for themselves.
@@gergnotslohI never understood that mindset. What difference does it make?
@@lifealert2716 Well, I'd rather make the money on my stuff than you making the money on my stuff. There's that aspect for starters.
Had that happen. A guy told me his old point and shoot from 2011 was selling for $45 on eBay. Showed me, and I went “yeah but look at completed listings. Here, click there” and it shows all of them sold for between $2-$6.
If someone's just gonna sit there with their phone and check Ebay prices, they might as well just sell the crap on Ebay. They don't though because they feel they can save more money by not having to deal with shipping/Handling. And more importantly, using an outrageous pricetag some guy made up off the top of his head in a basement somewhere
I used to have garage sales myself. I was always surprised that people wanted to buy my coffee and homemade Muffins and cookies 😊 but then again, it was early morning 🌄
I’ve seen some weird stuff at yard sales here in Miami. One time, I opened a little box and weed fell out. Another sale had a guy selling actual guns like 22 caliber rifles.
Fantastic find on the purse. Love yard sales. Happy Father’s Day. Thanks for sharing 🥰
Have a Happy Father's Day Kevin! Your children are blessed to have such great parents and grandparents!
Thanks so much
My parents still own the same yellow Tupperware since the ‘80.
We even cleaned the pond with it.
I have one too - still use it!
At the end of time there will be two things left: cockroaches and vintage Tupperware!
I have the green one that I have had for probably 30 years or more!
I still have mine.
Happy Father’s Day Kevin! I purchased the Clapper from you a couple weeks ago, gave it to my husband today for Fathers Day, he LOVED it! Keep up the great picking!
I hate people like that lady. The minute you lifted up something out of a container immediately her hands went into the container you were just looking in. It's like back off lady. I got to it first
I just sent the same msg. Extremely rude
When he said "You gonna fight me for it?" And giggled.....❤
Awesome yard/garage sale day Kevin..😮 That first sale had lots of good items and certainly great deals..😍 Love the vintage Pepsi trash can and Sealtest cooler is really cool..😉 Well done.. Happy Father's Day.. Take care..👍💕🔥👊
My Mom got Alzheimer's, she would hide things in ALL her pockets or any little nook. When she passed, it took us hours to go through all her clothes, pursed, hats, etc. Looking for money, pills, etc. lol
I rem finding old kleenex in my mom's.❤❤
Been there done that. Took me 4 years to find everything
Look in the books!! Have found money stashed in books! I work at a charity thrift store and you wouldn’t believe where people stash money
I love how you put a commercial clip of games, clothing, etc. as it bring back memories of seeing on TV!😀👍🏻
I like the corner pieces, too! Loved the Muppets plush but didn't see a Miss Piggy in the lot.💕
I love that you buy the goodies. It is so nice to see you helping out the kids that normally selling the snacks.
Hey Kevin it was great meeting you today and your wonderful family. I noticed Tyler first and my wife told me not to say anything but I had to say hey! You and your family have been a part of our lives for most of this year. Thanks for all the content you put out there I hope you and your dad have a great Fathers Day today!! Clay
Nice to meet you as well
Turner lol
Wow! Can’t believe they sold that Dooney & Burke purse for $5!!
Thought she was going to ask for the bag back saying she wasn't meant to sell it! T'was great find !😊 Love the videos
A smart, hardworking American entrepreneur doing the independent, owner-operator family business thing...cool.
You totally lucked out on this great garage sale!! Gooood finds!
I love when you put the old commercials in- so nostalgic!
Yes, the commercials are great!
Such Awesome finds at that first sale, and also that Dooney!!🤩
Nice find!! I like the way you do things. I'm a little different and into different items. Very strange about a lone pill being in New Condition D&B purse. And she's the only one who saw, "Aw!! It's a Tylenol. Must be my Grandma's!!"
I'm hip to her jive because she ain't nothing but a jive turkey. Mercy sakes!!
Great finds. The prefection game to me back. Thanks for sharing. Happy father's day 😊
I really enjoy the throwback adverts you put in for items you find...Happy picking!..Magic erasers are great for cleaning things up!
I like watching you. You can thank Kayla! You are kind and polite. Keep it up!
I love the way you show the old
Commercials! What state are you in? Man, I wish I could hire you to sell my estate stuff I’ve been downsizing for 10 years and still have so much. Anything n everything! My husband passed away and it’s just too much for me downsizing.
This is my first time following you, and I will continue just because you have such a amazingly, beautiful personality, wonderful refreshing spirit. God Bless🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
2:33...that lamp shade goes for $120-200 dollars retail. The oil lamp itself is highly figural, and in operating condition can go for from $40-200, depending on the collector. A $8 tubular wick and a $15 chimney, and some cleaning, will being full price.
4:29...router bit kit...$40 too high. That's full retail IIRC.
“ Ohhhh a corner piece”. Man after my own heart. Kevin you are too cute! Happy Father’s Day!
OMG that eagle at 13:30 is a dis continued trophy shop eagle that they stopped making in the early 1990s. championship belt makers pay HUGE money for them. they use on 2 specific belts, the last one i folowed sold on ebay a few weeks ago for 127 bucks.
When you picked up the old school tape measure it took me back to my childhood! My grandpa had one of those!! Super cool!
I subscribed for all the asmr sounds, crinkling and plastic tapping each other. I love this 🎉
You have to find out what people are actually paying for something. Also on eBay sometimes when a seller runs out of stock they will raise the price by an unreasonable amount so no one clicks on it to buy while they get more stock so they don't have to take the listing down then relist it
Geez, where do people find these sales with all this good stuff? In Florida it’s all crap with super inflated prices.
I love it when you add the commercials- really takes me back…..
I like how you’ve been playin the vintage commercials when you find cool stuff 🎉❤
Once you bought that purse they had no right to look at it!
Cute little black baby laying on the floor in your shed. Good stuff u got and Happy Fathers Day to ya
8:07 I love the Lane Cedar Jewelry Box that looks like a miniature hope chest.
I got Mine when I graduated in 1982 from Lane Furniture.
10:00 I still have My LEVI jacket from 1980.
I have mine from 1970.
1972 from a furniture store in Washington NJ
Gotta love the awesome Tupperware finds!!!!
So glad we got to say hello today at Texas Roadhouse. Happy Father’s Day!😊
It was very nice to meet you
Just started following this week and I love this channel
Great content once again! Keep up the great work Kevin!
Haha she knew that pill was there, must of been her hiding spot
I just used that yellow Tupperware strainer this morning!
Its nice to use the finds a few times then sell it. ❤
Thats so funny a purse with a pill for sale . Im glad it was a tylanol ..... i love watching this show and the other youtuber that does this she said they tag each othet in the discription or oin them ....
This show makes me feen to go yard selling bad!!! Oh the other show i watch is tge Homeschooling picker
Great documentary about that Pepsi points with the guy who tried to get the jet.
Happy Fathers Day Kevin 🎉 Love your New Editing Videos,,, Vintage commercials My Thing 😊Perfection 😊
Didn’t think I would like these videos but I kinda do. Used to go to the boot sale with my granddad and Nan a long time ago. He’s no longer with me and makes me feel nostalgic. Also I like to see what great stuff you can buy. They don’t do selling like this in the UK. I mean in gardens. If they do I haven’t seen it. 🔍
I live in Virginia. Yard sales are a huge thing here. I was having a yard sale once and found more money in the pockets of stuff than I made at the actual sale! 😅
We should be paying you for the vintage advertisements. 🎉😂❤
I live in Carlisle Cumbria England and I clean my 20years old son's trainers/ sneakers after he has worn them to keep in good condition, he keeps all the boxes and he puts them back in them
Nothing rocks your core like bringing something out to someone, because you know they'll love it, and they couldn't be less interested.
Just be careful with the echo dots , or just about anything Amazon like that. There is a link when buying that will link it to your current account and should be disabled. So you could have a brand new item that is already registered and set up for someone else’s Amazon
I like watching your videos. We all have an eye for certain things. I would have bought the Aaron Brooks jersey though. It would have easily sold here at the Jefferson Flea Market in Newport News. (He went to high school here :-) )
Great content. I followed for that and the fact that you sound like the Jeffery Dahmer actor on Netflix. 😂
i remember that commercial. i vaguely remember the controversy about the jet and the points. i was a kid back then.
Did I hear wrong? When you asked him how much the Levi jacket was, he clearly said $20, then you told him you didn’t really want to pay $25, I’ll pay $20….. ??????
Yeah that was dumb Lol
He even repeats back twenty and the seller confirms and says back 20.
I've found money in purses before and interesting things stuck in books. You just never know lol.
Good morning Kevin great video enjoy watching 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
I hope for the day my knowledge you taught me about hats and vintage t-shirts comes to use😂😂
New combined First Class & Parcel rate: anyone heard yet if the new rate will be eligible for home pick-up? Right now First Class is, but solo Ground packages alone do not.
I would love to go through that shed!
“Do you Mind” question: why do most people answer the question “yes”, to indicate “no, I don’t mind”. Answering “yes” should indicate “yes, I do mind”. It always seems a bit odd to me.
welcome to the English language
@@nontrashfire2 True, true.
Kevin, you are the Guy Fieri of the reselling world. We just ❤you man! -JaCk
I lived and worked in VA for almost 20 years.
We had two of those yellow Tupperware calendars one of them got melted a little bit on the stove and the other ones in perfect condition my mom's been hanging on to that and not using it after the other one got messed up
I have checked a lot of mens coat pockets for money , haven't found any yet but I will keep trying.
I am so-o-o glad I'm not a picker. Yes I made a few bucks in the early days of Ebay, but after their percentage and shipping went up and buyers learned how to return for refund without actually returning the merch... not so much.
Hi Kevin. I live in Mississippi about 2 hours out of NOLA, so I'm a big Saints fan. I actually have an Aaron Brooks signed Saints football in my office. LOL Happy hunting!
Yeah I wish I still had a couple hats I used to have doug Gilmore, peter ing when they played for the maple leafs and a Michigan wolverines
CRAZY to see a Rochester Amerks hat where you're at! A little hometown love for me!
Back in the day i used to go listen to Duke Jupiter from " Rock"chester when they played in Binghamton.Lou Gramm from Foreigner also born and raised in your hometown.
I loved Perfection! I was born in 69 and remember so many cool board games back then.
Hi Kevin, the 100K subs is creeping up on you, hope to see the award in the cabin soon.
So glad you went back and got Kermit!
Why do people say how much things cost on eBay? Are they going to take time to list it or pay the fees or mailing cost? NO!!!
Nice to see you're in VA.
Thanks for this video watching from australia keep up the great finds you pick up some great stuff kym
Awesome! Thank you!
You are always so kind to everyone!! ❤❤ great pick ups!
uhh, no he's not
My brother-in-law put the old Perfection game we had together and when the time ran out my sisters cat had his nose in it sniffing it when it popped up it was so hilarious
Always love to see what you find.
There's a documentary on Netflix about a guy who tried to get the Harrier fighter jet from Pepsi after collecting the 7,000,000 points.
in my dishwasher, right now, is the exact same model yellow strainer. it's the perfect size for fruit or a personal size serving of pasta lol
Another great video Kevin love watching hope to see you at flipcon
You are always nice and polite ;)
I love that she told you $10 for the cooler, then after you bought the pepsi can said I'll do $10 on the cooler... as if it were a different amount.. great negotiating tactic :)
Well it got Kevin 🤣
😂 Some people are just born natural horse traders.
I thought she said 20.00 on the cooler first then 10.00 after he bought big Pepsi
Had to rewatch because I was certain she originally said $10 for the cooler, but then made it sound like she was offering a deal…for $10. 🤦🏻♀️
Good ol Aaron Brooks. That QB who had the talent, just couldnt turn the corner. A Michael Vick super light version.
That Pepsi commercial brings back old memories fif I remember the story correctly a kid actually saved enough points to buy that jet, and it was a big deal because Pepsi didn’t know what to do. Didn’t expect anyone to get them points 😂
Aaron Brooks was drafted in 1999 by Green Bay and traded to the Saints (that was also the year Mike Ditka traded all of the Saints picks to move up to draft Ricky Williams). Brooks was nothing special in the NFL, but I used to like him. I collected a few of his rookie cards back then in hopes he’d become a star.
I got my first Dooney at a thrift store for $3. Exact same one!!!
You actually made more on the Sealtest cooler. Pretty cool
Hey, Mr. Commonwealth, can you tell me anything about the Virginia seal that's in the beginning of your video? It's the seal for York Poquoson. I just though it was the strangest seal I've seen. Thanks from Gary in Texas.
Thank you for sharing ❤
I picked up a dooney that had an antidepressant in it. And a Brighton that had a credit card in it.
Adore the ladies accent that was a dallas cowboys fan! ❤❤❤
There is a documentary about that Pepsi promotion/Harrier jet. Its pretty good.
