- Another furniture challenge video!!!! This furniture makeover is a Facebook marketplace find and my entry for this competition. You guys helped me pick the colours back in September for my vintage desk. You'll watch as I add texture and depth to the piece as well as blend the 3 colours together seamlessly. I'm so excited for you to check out how this diamond in the rough went from one man's trash to treasure!

My first thoughts were oh no!, but it grew on me,. I ended up loving the piece; colors are fall for me. Nostalgic feel to the desk. What a great job.

I can visualize this desk in many settings even though it is very unique. It looks like it was Great Grandpa's desk and has a lot of stories to tell. I loved the oversized blending brush. You should be very proud of the risks and rewards on this desk. Between the bright colors, the texture, the blending, and the dark wash you took many risks. Congratulations on the outcome.

So cool! I've used that baking soda paint technique on small pieces before, like glass vases, but never on furniture. I love how much texture you get with it mixed into the clay paint. What a gorgeous blend and truly stunning result, it's a cozy fall day in a piece of furniture. Well done!

I really like the bright colors blended together. It definately reminds me of the leaves changing colors in the fall, which I haven't seen in over 10 years. Having a bit of nostalgia ❤🧡💛
