‼️Thank you for your question. It is possible to raise deck #1 so that the front bumper of the car does not touch the front bumper of the car on deck #2. The deck should not be raised so much. Another important thing is that the straps on deck #1 must be loose, otherwise the deck will resist and the strap or tracks may break.
@@PaulMcLove Thank you for answering, another question, did you ever thought about using smaller tire sizes to be within legal height limit of 13,6? if a OEM offers a smaller tire size on haulers will it have any negatives or its useful for haulers?
Hello, I have a Pete truck and I am thinking of getting a Volvo VAH 64600 with the I-Shift transmission. What is your experience with the Volvo, the good and bad.
Thank you for the question ! We chose Volvo, because it has a shorter nose and there is more room behind the cab. We have the smallest sleeper and the cabin is cut in the second stage. We can park a Caravan or even a Colorado and above having even a 1500. On a longer journey ... maybe a day trip, an extra car moved ... can pay for diesel, up to half of expense. Sleeper we did not use, the mattress is still plastic, it is only for storing clothes and some parts (filters, lights,... ) or tools. Deck #2 is articulated. This gives us the opportunity to break it and adjust the height behind the cab. Otherwise ... nothing special, quiet and ... economical (..! ??). We use electric PTO (24V alternator), we have it as main and we stop the engine when we load or unload. So fewer hours on the engine.
Starting car hauling next month did it before in Australia for 4 years now in Canada what’s volvo sleeper like and space inside atm doing flatbed with Vnl 760
@Alejandro Fragoso Thank you for your question. The height for #2 and #5 is 14-2. For #1…. 🤷♂️ … more than likely, much lower. I didn't even measure it.
@@PaulMcLove thanks for your reply, I was shocked when I saw your load, I run in the northeast and I will never be able to run that high, what area do you normally run with loads like this one?

Hi, I'm curious about the heigth, how high was number one, two and the last one on the trailer?
@Alejandro Fragoso

HaHaHa 👍😏😀
Yes, I am assuming you guys run 13-6.
We are here in Canada.
For us 14-2 is the max safest height.
@@PaulMcLove yup 13.6, that extra 6 inches makes a huge difference

We moved even 14’5” because we knew the route and avoided traffic lights, branches, etc.
Was not fun but we did it.
How you make mpg?
5,2-5,4 mpg
